Unconcern – You may knowa lot about Jesus andsalvation - or very little.The point is that YOUREALLY DO NOT CARE.Your life is on autopilotand you are fixated on yourcareer, your money, yourhealth and the other “stuff”of life. Romans 5:8
Concern – You may beexperiencing somesignificant turbulence inyour life. Perhaps a recentdeath, illness, job loss,divorce or other majorlife-issue has made youconcerned, and YOU NOWREALIZE YOUR SPIRI-TUAL NEED and sense ofemptiness. Jeremiah 29:13
Conviction – YOU HAVESPIRITUAL DISCOMFORTOR GUILT caused by theHoly Spirit showing youyour sin. You, like all of us,are guilty, because God’sstandard is total perfectionin thought, word and deed.Jesus, though, willingly paidthe penalty for all of our sinsby His death and resurrec-tion. Hebrews 9:27-28
Repentance – YOU HAVEADEEP CHANGE OFHEARTAND MIND. Youreverse course, and chooseto reject and forsake allknown sin in your life andlive God's way. You also letgo of the controls and giveup your right to run yourown life apart from God.Jesus said that unless yourepent, you too will perish.Luke 13:3
Saving Faith – By faith,you trust Jesus to be yourCaptain.When YOUCOMPLETELY TRUSTAND COMMITYOURLIFE TO HIM, He willput His Spirit in you, guideyou through each day, andmake you a part of Hiseternal family. “Since wehave been justified throughfaith, we have peace withGod through our LordJesus Christ.” Romans 5:1© Copyright 2008
