Designed in 1957 by Barney Kessel, the Artist has a 15 ½” wide body and is the perfect guitar for Jazz Ensembles, Lounge or Combo Groups. Barney often used the K6700 Artist for recording sessions with the “Wrecking Crew” and artist like Elvis, Sam Cooke, Ike & Tina, etc. The Kay Guitar Company has reissued the Artist and recreated this versatile instrument to echo the Swinging ‘50s Jazz era.
