A member of the flower guild will be in the fellowship hall between worship services during the months of December and January taking signups for flower dedications/memorials for 2014. Stop by and sign up.

The church office will be closed December 31-January 1. The office will be opened with very limited staff on December 30.

There will be no Young Adults gathering on Tues., Dec. 31st (NYE). Please join us for the Genesis Epiphany Social on Sun., Jan 5th. We will resume our 7 pm gathering at Sam & Greg’s on Tues., Jan. 7th

The Genesis Epiphany Social for Young Adults and Young Families will be on Sun, Jan 5th from 4-6 at the home of Danny and Ginger Bryant (2809 Hastings Rd, HSV). Nursery care will be provided at the church. Bring a potluck side or dessert to share.

Disciple 1 will resume on January 7.

New Member Social All 59+ new members who have joined the church in the last year are invited to a New Member Social on Sun, Feb. 23rd at 4 pm at the home of Doug and Leigh Brown (2428 Covemont Drive). Nursery care during the social will be provided at the church by request; please call the church office to coordinate.

Presbyterian Youth Connection will not meet December 22 or 29. We will resume on January 5.

Breakfast and Bible Study is a Youth Bible Study led by Andrew Bevel Friday mornings at 6:45 a.m. in the library. We will not meet on December 27 or January 3. We will resume on January 10.

LOGOS will resume on January 8 with the theme “Best Foot Forward” so wear crazy socks!

Thanks to Linda McAllister for leading the worship music during the service this morning. Chancel Choir Rehearsal will resume on January 8, 2014. Crusaders Ringers will resume rehearsals on January 12, 2014.

FPC Women’s Retreat - The women of FPC-HSV will focus on building and deepening rela-tionships with God

and one another by intentionally with-drawing from the world into a peaceful and intimate surrounding. How strong are your ankles? Gather’s Ice Skating is Sunday, January 26, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. We are excited that we have another opportunity to gather at the Iceplex.
