Assessment Report 2013 – Regcourt Property 3
1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This report has been prepared by John Langton, M.Sc., P.Geo. (the “Author”) of MRB & Associates (“MRB”) at the request of Jean-Marc Lacoste, President and Chief Executive Officer of Monarques Resources Inc. (“Monarques”, or the “Company”) to report on the preliminary results of the 2012 diamond-drilling campaign completed by Galahad Metals Inc. (“Galahad”) on the Regcourt property (the “Property”), and to summarize the results of earlier diamond-drilling campaigns on the Property, also carried out by Galahad, from whom the Property was recently acquired. The purpose of this report is to compile the information about the diamond-drilling campaign that took place in 2012 and to apply the exploration work credits from the drilling programme in order to maintain the Property in good standing with respect to Quebec Provincial Government mining and exploration regulations. This report draws on a digital geological compilation, carried out by MRB & Associates of Val-d’Or (QC), of recent and historic work related to the Regcourt Property. Monarques acquired the Regcourt Property in May 2013 from Galahad Metals Inc. (see Monarques Press Release dated May 7, 2013). The current Property covers parts of Vauquelin and Louvicourt townships, Québec (NTS 32C/03). Galahad Metals Inc. acquired the mineral concession surrounding the original Regcourt Gold Mines Ltd. property (Concession Minérale 361), in the summer of 2009 and subsequently secured additional nearby claims to solidify its holdings in the area. Monarques has acquired a 100% interest in Property from Galahad, and has also purchased the outstanding 2% NSR (Net Smelter Return) that existed on the Property as per Galahad’s previous agreement. The Regcourt Property comprises 89 claims and covers 2620.23 hectares (26.20 km2) in the eastern part of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, 30 km east of Val-d’Or, Quebec. The Property straddles the Vauquelin and Louvicourt townships boundary and encloses the historic Regcourt Mine (UTM 324600 E - 5329550 N, NAD83 Zone18), which was in operation in the mid-1940’s. The Regcourt Mine deposit was discovered in 1944. During initial exploration, an area of outcrop in the vicinity of the granodiorite stock was stripped, exposing the principle vein, which yielded an average gold grade of 8.13 gpt (grams per tonne) with an average width of 0.76 m over a strike length of 67 m. Underground development was carried out in 1946-47 and comprised a 544 foot shaft and 1317 feet of cross-cuts and drifts. Access to the central part of the Property is facilitated via a tertiary road leading 300 metres east from Provincial Highway 113. The Regcourt Property hosts an Archean, gold-bearing, fault-fill and extensional quartz-tourmaline-pyrite vein system, that cross-cuts a small (200 m x 400 m) granodiorite intrusion. A shear zone that transects the granodiorite intrusion is documented in several historic holes and the underground workings, and likely continues into the surrounding country rock. The style of deformation and mineralization at the historic Regcourt Mine deposit is consistent with other gold deposits in the Val-d’Or gold mining camp, one of the world’s most prolific gold mining districts. The deposit contains a historic mineral inventory, in the vicinity of the shaft, of 61,000 tonnes Au @ 5.49 gpt (10,766 oz.), calculated to a depth of 500 feet (Routledge, 1983). Similarities between the gold mineralization at Regcourt and that of the nearby Beaufort Mine (Richmont Mines Inc.) are recognized.
Assessment Report 2013 – Regcourt Property 4
Mineralization at Regcourt appears to follow from fracturing of the relatively competent granodiorite intrusion followed by the growth of parallel and en-echelon quartz-vein systems. The veins pinch and swell, and often branch and intersect in response to localized stress fields. Auriferous veins in these types of deposits typically include: 1) moderately to steeply dipping extensional and fracture-fill veins within, and parallel to, the shear zones that cross-cut the intrusion and country rocks, and; 2) moderately dipping extensional-shear veins. At Regcourt, gold is present in sulphide minerals (mainly pyrite) and as free gold, both of which are hosted by the hydrothermal quartz-tourmaline veins and stringers associated with fractures and shear-zones within and on the periphery of the granodiorite stock. At least 6 gold-bearing quartz veins were intersected in the historic mine workings and diamond-drill holes (DDH). The veins appear to be associated with the principal shear- and tension fault-orientations interpreted in the local geology. Galahad Metals completed 27 diamond-drill holes, totalling 7,238 m, on the Property from 2010 to 2012. A total of 2410 core samples were collected and sent for analysis.
In 2010, Galahad completed a diamond-drill programme comprising 9 holes and totalling 2,341 m, to explore and validate historic intersections, as well as the projected extensions of veins and other structures, especially along their interpreted, linear, intersection zones. In 2011, another diamond-drill programme by Galahad, comprising 13 holes and totalling 3,155 m, was completed in order to extend 2 drill-holes from the 2010 campaign, to test a structural model, and to intersect projected continuations of known mineralized zones. The 2012 diamond-drill program by Galahad, comprising 5 holes and totalling 1,572 m, was designed to test the near surface and deep projected extensions of gold-bearing quartz veins previously intersected by historic and earlier Galahad drill-holes.
Of the 5 drill-holes completed in 2012, four (4) reached their objectives. Hole RG12-04 breached a drift in the historic mine workings after 168 metres of coring, and had to be abandoned. The drill-rig was repositioned by a few metres and Hole RG12-04b successfully reached its target depth.
The best intervals from the 2012 drilling are shown in Table 1. This Report draws heavily from previous reports by: Horvath and Langton, 2010 (GM65029); Bérubé, 2011 (GM 66149); and, Langton and Pacheco, 2011 (GM66152); and is being submitted to the Ministère des Ressources naturelles et de la Faune, Québec, for assessment work credits.

2. INTRODUCTION AND TERMS OF REFERENCE This report (the “Report”) has been prepared by MRB & Associates (“MRB”) at the request of Jean-Marc Lacoste, President and Chief Executive Officer of Monarques Resources Inc. (“Monarques”) to compile the information about the diamond-drilling campaign that took place in 2012. The purpose of this report is to maintain the Regcourt Property (the “Property”) in good standing with respect to Quebec Provincial Government mining and exploration regulations. Monarques Resources Inc. (“Monarques”) is a public Québec-registered company trading under the symbol “MQR” on the Toronto Venture Exchange (TSX-V) with corporate offices located at: 450 Gare-du-Palais Street (1st Floor), Québec, QC Canada G1K 3X2. Monarques recently acquired the Regcourt Property from Galahad Metals Inc. (see Monarques Press Release dated May 7, 2013). The Property overlies parts of Vauquelin and Louvicourt townships, Québec (NTS 32C/03). Galahad Metals Inc. initially acquired the mineral concession surrounding the original Regcourt Gold Mines Ltd. property (Concession Minérale 361), in the summer of 2009 and subsequently secured additional nearby claims to solidify its holdings in the area. Monarques has acquired a 100% interest in the Property from Galahad, and has also purchased the outstanding 2% NSR (Net Smelter Return) that existed on the Property, as per Galahad’s previous agreement. This document reports on the results of the 2012 drilling campaign completed by Galahad on the Regcourt Property and summarizes the results of Galahad’s 2010 and 2011 diamond-drilling campaigns. In 2010, Galahad completed a diamond-drill program comprising 9 holes, totalling 2,341 metres (m), to explore and validate historic intersections and the projected extensions of veins and other structures, especially along their interpreted, linear, intersection zones. In 2011, another diamond-drill program comprising 13 holes, totalling 3,155 m, was completed by Galahad in order to extend 2 drill-holes from the 2010 campaign, to test an interpreted structural model, and to intersect known mineralized zones down-dip and along strike. The 2012 diamond-drill program by Galahad comprised 5 holes, totalling 1,572 m, and was designed to test the near surface and deep projected extensions of gold-bearing quartz veins previously intersected by historic and earlier Galahad drill-holes. This Report details the results of the 2012 drilling-campaign and includes a surface compilation map of available historic and recent geological data for the area near the Regcourt deposit; data from available drill-hole, trench and sample locations maps, geological bedrock maps, surface and underground drill sections, and underground level plans were geo-referenced and digitized.

3. PROPERTY LOCATION, DESCRIPTION AND ACCESSIBILITY The Regcourt Property is located in the eastern part of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, 30 km east of Val-d’Or, Quebec and 330 m east of the Vauquelin and Louvicourt townships boundary (Figure 1). The Property comprises 89 claims and covers 2620.23 ha (26.20 km2) (Figure 2). A summary of the claims comprising the Regcourt Property is displayed in Appendix I. Access to the main deposit is via a dirt road leading 300 metres east from Provincial Highway 113. This road was cleared and developed prior to the 2010 drilling campaign and is still open. East of Lac Endormi, the remainder of the Property is accessible by boat across Lac Guégen from a Hunting & Fishing Lodge on a nearby Point (Figure 1). A longer access route (67 km) from the village of Senneterre (Figure 1) is also possible by truck and ATV. To the knowledge of the Author, the boundaries of the Properties have never been surveyed, and claim post locations should be carefully checked and surveyed using GPS.

4. PREVIOUS WORK* *Note that all intervals referred to herein are core-length sections and do not represent true widths of the mineralized zones.
A compilation of available historic geological data for the area near Regcourt deposit was completed in March 2010. Using ArcGIS® (ESRI) software, historical geoscience maps submitted to the Provincial Government with Assessment Reports, were scanned and geo-referenced. Data from these maps, such as drill-hole, trench and sample locations, and geological contacts were digitized. In addition to the documents available from the Provincial archives, an assortment of private, hard-copy data and drill-core was purchased from Moneta Porcupine Mines Inc., a previous owner of the Regcourt Gold Mines Ltd. concession. These data included surface and underground drill sections, drill-hole location maps, trench maps, underground level plans, drill logs and assay results, underground sample assay results, geophysical anomaly maps from magnetic and electromagnetic surveys, and privately commissioned reference Reports. The reference Reports include a 1947 Regcourt Mines Ltd. report on underground development work, a 1980 evaluation report by M.W. Rennick for Crackingstone Mines Ltd., and a 1983 paper by R.E. Routledge for the Engineering firm of Derry, Michener, Booth and Wahl. Drill-core includes holes 1 to 39, CM-81-01 to CM-81-19, RC-90-01 and, UG-1, UG-2, UG-4, UG-5, UG-8, UG-9, UG-11 to UG-24, UG-26 to UG-40. Geological information points (GIP’s) from the Moneta dataset were incorporated into the ArcGIS project containing the Provincial data. Underground data from drill-hole logs were first transcribed manually into a comprehensive drill-hole database. These data were then integrated, along with the geo-referenced section and level plans, into a Gemcom ® (Gemcom Software International Inc.) 3-D surface and underground model of the Property.
4.1. Compilation of Historic Diamond Drill-hole Data An in-depth search was carried out to locate information regarding historic drill-hole locations and logs. The most comprehensive source of diamond drill-hole data for Quebec is the on-line Provincial digital drill hole database found at (www.mrnf.gouv.qc.ca/english/mines/geology/geology-databases.jsp). These were cross referenced with drill-holes compiled from our available data to establish identity and location accuracy. A total of 59 surface drill-holes and 35 underground drill holes were geo-referenced and entered into the database, including those referred to above. Copies of drill logs for all compiled holes were obtained from available Assessment Reports (www.mrnf.gouv.qc.ca/english/mines/geology/geology-databases.jsp), and from the purchased Moneta data. Collar, survey, lithology and assay data were transcribed into an Access ® database that was linked to the Gemcom model. A copy of the final surface compilation map (Map 1) is included as Appendix II.
Assessment Report 2013 – Regcourt Property 11
4.2. Recent Diamond Drilling* Galahad Metals completed 22 diamond-drill holes, totalling 5,496 m, on the Property in 2010 and 2011.
4.2.1. Diamond-Drilling in 2010
The 2010 drilling campaign was carried out between November 8th and November 30th, 2010 and consisted of 9 diamond-drill holes, totalling 2,341 metres of NQ core. A synopsis of the 2010 drilling campaign is shown in Table 2. The drill program target structural and/or vein intersection zones. A total of 7 out of 9 drill-holes intersected their mineralized targets; one of these drill-holes (RG-10-07) reached the mineralized zone when it was extended during the 2011 drilling campaign. All the drill-holes intersected gold-mineralized zones even though they were extremely weak in drill-holes RG-10-07 and RG-10-09. A total of 840 core samples were collected and assayed for gold and copper content. Unfortunately, no significant copper mineralization was intersected in this campaign but numerous gold-mineralized zones were detected; no visible gold was detected in the cores. Selected best results are shown in Table 3.

A Hole-to-Hole 3D IP survey was completed by Abitibi-Géophysique in the nine (9) drill holes completed in 2010. This survey was designed to allow mapping of targets beneath the known extent of the mineralization. It was been determined that IP geophysics can’t be relied upon to accurately identify the gold-bearing, quartz vein targets on the Regcourt Property.
4.2.2. Diamond-Drilling in 2011
The 2011 drilling campaign ran from April 19th to May 19th, 2011 and consisted of 13 diamond-drill holes, totalling 3,155 metres of NQ core. A synopsis of the 2011 drilling campaign is shown in Table 4. A total of 721 core samples were collected and assayed for gold content. Selected best results are shown in Table 5.

Assessment Report 2013 – Regcourt Property 14
5. GEOLOGY AND MINERALIZATION The Regcourt Property overlies a tight- to isoclinal-folded succession of mainly andesite and felsic and mafic pyroclastic rocks of the Malartic Group. A relatively small (200 m x 400 m) granodiorite stock (or sill), referred to as the Regcourt Granodiorite, has intruded along an interpreted fold axis at the contact of the major volcanic units, in the western part of the Property. An interpretation of the geology around the Regcourt Granodiorite is shown in Figure 3. This area hosts the historic Regcourt Gold Mine workings and has been the focus of the majority of exploration work completed to date on the Property. The eastern part of the Property hosts a larger granodiorite intrusion, herein referred to as the East End Granodiorite (EEG). A review of available information shows that the surface extent of this body (600 m x 1500 m) is significantly larger than the Regcourt stock. Quartz-tourmaline-pyrite veins (see Appendix II - Map 1) were noted in historic reports describing trenching and diamond-drilling exploration programmes around the EEG. No significant gold concentrations were obtained; however, only a small suite of results are available. The Regcourt Mine deposit was discovered in 1944. During initial exploration, an area of outcrop in the vicinity of the Regcourt Granodiorite was stripped, exposing the principle vein, which yielded an average gold grade of 8.13 gpt with an average width of 0.76 m over a strike length of 67 m. Underground development was carried out in 1946-47 and comprised a 544 foot (166 m) shaft and 1317 feet (400 m) of cross-cuts and drifts. According to Routledge (1983), the Regcourt Mine contains a historic mineral inventory of 61,000 tonnes Au @ 5.49 gpt (10,766 oz.), calculated to a depth of 500 feet. At least 6 gold-bearing veins were intersected by the historic mine workings and drilling. A review of the available data indicates that the style of deformation and mineralization at the historic Regcourt Mine deposit is consistent with other gold deposits in the Val-d’Or gold mining camp, namely an Archean, gold-bearing, fault-fill and extensional quartz-tourmaline-pyrite vein system, associated with high-strain zones in close proximity to an mafic to intermediate intrusion.
5.1. Structure The near east-west (080º) fold hinges are interpreted from the symmetry of the major volcanic contacts, and are spaced approximately 200 m apart. The central fold axis coincides with a major, parallel-striking shear-zone, documented in several historic drill-hole logs and notes on the underground workings. The rock units dips are predominantly sub-vertical. Diorite dykes are numerous and are sub-parallel to the axial-planar foliation. Syenite dykes appear to intrude along an interpreted, axial-planar parallel structure, located along the southern contact of the Regcourt Granodiorite, and are also associated with a north-east trending conjugate structure along the northwest contact of the intrusion. In addition to these structures, quartz-tourmaline-sulphide gold veins occur along 4 separate structures. Figure 4 shows the structural interpretation and relationship to the various geological features modelled, as well as the orientation of principal gold-bearing veins.

5.2. Mineralization Gold is present in sulphide minerals (mainly pyrite) and as free gold, both of which are hosted by hydrothermal quartz-tourmaline veins and stringers associated with fractures and shear-zones, within and on the periphery of the Regcourt Granodiorite, that appear to be associated with the principal shear and tension faults interpreted in the local geology. As recent exploration has advanced, similarities between the gold mineralization at Regcourt and that of the nearby Beaufort Mine (Richmont Mines Inc.) have been recognized. Beaufort-type mineralization is the result of fracturing of the relatively competent granodiorite intrusion followed by the growth of parallel or en-echelon vein systems. Progressive deformation causes dilation, and repeated reopening results in “crack and seal” veins, often with bands of tourmaline that form with successive infillings. The veins pinch and swell, and often branch and intersect in response to localized stress fields. The auriferous veins in these types of deposits typically include: 1) moderately to steeply dipping extensional and fracture-fill veins within, and parallel to, the shear zones that cross-cut the intrusion and country rocks; 2) moderately dipping extensional-shear veins. The main shear zone that transects the granodiorite intrusion is documented in several historic holes and the underground workings, and likely continues into the surrounding country rock. Two families of veins are evident at Regcourt: 1) shear-style fault-fill veins, and; 2) tension-style (“flat”) extensional veins (refer to Figures). Due to their narrow widths, the veins were modelled, and are shown, as surfaces, rather than volumes.
Shear-style veins Six principal shear-veins (#1 through #6) and two parallel tension-veins (T1 and T2) have been identified (Figure 5). These veins have characteristics of both extensional- and fault-fill veins. The shear-style veins comprise gold- and sulphide-bearing, quartz-tourmaline veins with associated chlorite and albite alteration, within an overall northwest-trending zone of high strain. The veins within this zone are oriented generally east-west and dip steeply to the south. Four of these veins (#1 through #4) were originally intersected and sampled during underground work at the mine in the 1940’s, whereas two (#5 and #6) are newly defined. Drilling by Galahad has delineated all of these veins beyond the old workings. Tension-style (“flat”) veins The moderately dipping extensional-shear veins are typically seen at gold deposits in the Val-d’Or Mining Camp. The may be abundant or infrequent, and commonly host very high gold-grades. For example, the T2 flat vein at Regcourt hosts gold mineralized intervals of 39.5 gpt /1.20 m and 39.0 gpt /1.05 m.
A summary of intersections encountered in the veins are tabulated and displayed graphically on Longitudinal Section figures in Appendix III. As a result of the stress-controlled structural permeability, the mineralization along the various vein systems at Regcourt is unevenly distributed. It is likely that linear and irregular ore shoots separated by lower grade zones and barren segments are present making the targeting of the mineralized zones difficult from surface. Further drilling is required to refine this model.

6. CURRENT WORK The 2012 drilling campaign was carried out between February 24th, 2012 and March 13th, 2012 and consisted of 5 diamond-drill holes, totalling 1,572 metres of NQ core. The location of the 2012 drill-holes is shown in Figure 6. The 2012 programme was designed to test the near surface and deep projected extensions of gold-bearing quartz veins previously intersected by historic and earlier Galahad drill-holes. The drilling was carried out under the supervision of John Langton, M.Sc., P. Geo., a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. The drill core from the 2012 drilling program were logged by Sebastien Kouadio, P.Geo., of MRB & Associates. A total of 849 core-samples were collected and sent to ALS-Chemex Laboratories Ltd. of Val-d’Or, QC, an accredited lab. ALS Chemex has attained ISO 9001:2000 registration, which requires evidence of a quality management system covering all aspects of the assaying process. The samples were assayed for multiple-element-content using the ME-ICP41 package, which utilizes inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) analytical methods; and for gold-content using the Au-AA25 package, utilizing fire-assay methods with an atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) finish. A synopsis of the 2012 drilling campaign is shown in Table 6, whereas selected best results are shown in Table 7. Diamond drill-hole logs for 2012 are included in Appendix IV, and drill-hole section maps are compiled in Appendix V. Hole RG12-01 was drilled on section 340 at an attitude of -65° towards 045° and was stopped after 351 metres. This hole was designed to test the near surface extension of (flat) quartz veins previously intersected by holes RG11-08 (39.50 gpt Au, from 40.9-42.1 m) and RG10-05 (6.08 gpt Au, from 16.3-17.5 m), and to intersect the extension of a vein encountered by hole RG10-05 that graded 6.18 gpt Au (326.5 - 326.8 m). An interval of 39.00 gpt Au from 42.5-43.6 m was encountered. Hole RG13-02 was drilled on section 300 at an attitude of -65° towards 045° and was stopped after 351 metres. This hole tested an interpreted corridor of flat quartz veins to a vertical depth of 250-300 metres. A tight set of quartz-tourmaline veins and veinlets associated with gabbroic dykes was previously intersected by historical holes on this section. Notable intervals are 9.48 gpt Au from 67.5-69.0 m and 6.62 gpt Au from 338.5-339.0 m (290 m vertical). The hole reached a vertical depth of 300 metres. Hole RG13-03 was drilled on section 340 at an attitude of -65° towards 045° and was stopped after 351 metres. This hole tested the near surface and deep extensions of (flat) quartz veins previously intersected by historical holes. The hole reached a vertical depth of 300 metres and encountered an interval from 348.9-349.4 m, grading 5.70 gpt Au. This corresponds to two intervals in hole RG10-07 grading 6.33 gpt Au and 14.55 gpt Au encountered from 376.4-376.8 and 386.0-386.4, respectively. Hole RG13-04 was drilled on section 380 at an attitude of -57° towards 045°, and encountered 11.08 gpt Au in an interval from 164.0-166.0 m. This hole breached a drift in the historic mine workings at 168 metres and was abandoned.
Assessment Report 2013 – Regcourt Property 20
Hole RG13-04B was drilled on section 380 at an attitude of -56° towards 045° and was stopped after 351 metres. This hole was designed to test interpreted locations of quartz veins to a vertical depth of 250-300 metres. In addition, the hole tested near-surface, gold-bearing veins intersected by Regcourt Gold Mines’ underground holes.

6.1. Quality Assurance / Quality Control procedures The drill core from the 2012 drilling program were logged by Sebastien Kouadio (P.Geo.) of MRB & Associates, using GEMS Logger software, under the supervision of John Langton and Martin Bourgoin, the “Qualified Persons” for this project as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Mineralized drill-core intersections were sawn in half and sampled on lengths from 0.3 to 1.5 metres, and sealed in plastic sample bags with a sample-tag showing. The samples were delivered in secure bags to ALS Chemex, an accredited assay laboratory, in Val-d’Or, Quebec for assaying. Gold was assayed using the fire-assay method on a 30 gram pulp with an atomic absorption finish (Au-AA25). A Metallic-sieve analysis method (Au-SCR21) was employed for samples containing visible gold. Copies of signed Assay Certificates from ALS Chemex are included in Appendix VI. The program of quality control for the drill-core sampling program entailed the random insertion of blanks, standards and duplicates into the sample streams. A quality control program (QA/QC) was implemented by the laboratories to insure the precision of the analytical methods and results. After logging and sampling, all core boxes with an aluminium tag showing core box number and down hole depth interval, were transported and stored at a secure facility, owned and supervised by Forage Val-d’Or Inc. of Val-d’Or, QC.

7. DISCUSSION OF RESULTS
The Regcourt gold project hosts a series of parallel fault-fill and extensional gold-bearing quartz veins in a high-strain (shear) zone transecting a small granodiorite body (the Regcourt Stock) that intrudes mainly mafic and intermediate volcanic rocks of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. The intrusion may have a long dimension oriented near vertical or steeply plunging and may continue to considerable depth. Additional veining is also likely to occur in other, untested, parts of the intrusion that have been affected by similar deformation, faulting and fracturing. The main objective of the 2012 drill program was to explore and validate historic intersections, as well as projected extensions of veins and other structures intersected by previous drill-holes. All of the 2012 drill-holes intersected gold-mineralized quartz-veins, adding to the understanding of the mineralization model at Regcourt. It appears that the mineralization along the various vein systems at Regcourt is unevenly distributed; i.e., nugget-style. Both linear and irregular ore zones, or shoots, are typically separated by lower grade zones and barren segments, making surface-targeting of the mineralized zones difficult. Further drilling is required to refine the model and to delimit the mineralized zones more precisely.
Assessment Report 2013 – Regcourt Property 24
8. CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
The Regcourt property is underlain by favourable geology for gold mineralization. The observed mineralization is associated with shear zones and fractures within a granodiorite that are injected by veins and veinlets of quartz containing pyrite and tourmaline. This "Val-d’Or type" gold occurrence shares many geological similarities with present and former gold producers in the Val-d’Or Mining Camp.
8.1. Conclusions The main objective of the 2012 drill program was to explore and validate historic intersections, as well as projected extensions of veins and other structures, especially at their projected intersections. The three recent drill programmes, including the 5 holes drilled in 2012, have produced notable gold-bearing intersections in 22 of 27 drill-holes. The 2012 exploration campaign validated the historic intersections as well as the projected intersections and corroborated the existence of high-grade, gold-bearing quartz veins on the Property. A total of 849 core samples were collected and assayed for gold and whole-rock content; numerous gold-mineralized zones were intersected. The preliminary gold-assay results confirm the existence of gold mineralization to at least 100 vertical metres below the historic shaft. The granodiorite stock at the historic Regcourt Gold Mine hosts quartz-tourmaline-sulphide-gold vein mineralization in shear/tension fractures. The Regcourt Granodiorite has a limited aerial extent at surface but may have a long dimension oriented near vertical or steeply plunging and may continue to considerable depth. In order to better understand the pattern or high-grade gold mineralization detected on the Regcourt Property, these new data have been incorporated into the Gemcom® 3D database, which will be utilized to establish future drill-targets.
8.2. Recommendations It is recommended to pursue exploration on this Property with further drilling targeting the known mineralized zones to better understand their orientations and extent. Diamond-drilling to target the projected down-dip continuations of the shear-veins, especially Veins #3 and #4, which host some of the highest returned assays from depths greater than 200 m. Twin-drilling of some of the vertical historic holes to compare analytical results. It is important to validate more of the historic analytical results, with the objective of defining a mineral resource on the Property; Re-excavating and sampling of the “discovery” trench, which was excavated in 1944 exposing 8.13 gpt gold over an average width of 0.76 m along a strike length of 67 m.
Assessment Report 2013 – Regcourt Property 25
A Hole-to-Hole 3D IP survey was completed by Abitibi-Géophysique in the nine (9) drill holes completed in 2010. It was been determined that IP geophysics can’t be relied upon to accurately identify the gold-bearing, quartz vein targets on the Regcourt Property. No further geophysical work is recommended at this time. The eastern part of the Property hosts a larger granodiorite intrusion, herein referred to as the East End Granodiorite (EEG). A review of available information shows that the surface extent of this body (600 m x 1500 m) is significantly larger than the Regcourt stock. Quartz-tourmaline-pyrite veins in the EEG have been encountered by historic surface trenching diamond-drill holes. No significant gold concentrations have been noted; however, only a small suite of results are available. The under-explored EEG warrants further investigation to determine whether it has a similarly developed a vein system to the Regcourt Granodiorite stock.
