Applications must be submitted electronically.

Web address will be published beginning May 1st.

Applications can be completed on-line at any time, from any computer.

Online applications available May 15th at 8:00 a.m.

Paper applications will be available only to persons with special needs.

The applicant is provided with the following:• Summary of any missing items in red font; and• A confirmation number upon completion.

SAHA has partnered with the San Antonio Public Library system, which has computers available at all 23 locations throughout the city.

Library system will provide special computers for this process.• Applicants will not need library cards for use of

these computers.

Use of “regular” library computers will require library card (available at no cost).

Orientations for community partners and stakeholders are scheduled for May 10th and 11th.

• Notice will be mailed by April 23rd.

The orientations will include a presentation on the application process and a demonstration of on-line application.

Toll free number will be in operation effective May 1st.• 877-550-1109• Bilingual representatives available

May 15th through June 30th, callers will hear general information but may stay on the line to talk to an operator for additional assistance.

Applicants may schedule an appointment to have a customer service representative complete the on-line application for them.

Applications received from May 15th through midnight on June 1st will undergo a computer randomization process and assigned a fixed number.

Applicants will be ranked on the waiting list based on the highest number of preference points and the lowest assigned number.

The on-line application will remain open indefinitely.

New applications received after June 1st will be ranked based on total preference points and sequential number assignment.
