Atlanta Habitat provides unique opportunities for partners from similar industries including legal, financial services, and technology builds. Interfaith partnerships, high school and college builds, and all-women builds are other examples of special interest builds. Each house brings together multiple partners to support the total cost of house sponsorship. Benefits of special interest builds include business development, team-building, and civic engagement.

Sponsoring an Atlanta Habitat home not only provides a quality, energy-efficient home to a working family, it sets into motion generations of success.
Georgia-Pacific has a long history of sponsorship and volunteer support for Atlanta Habitat for Humanity because we believe that homeownership strengthens families and helps build stronger communities. The work Atlanta Habitat does to identify qualified working families and involve them in home ownership education and the construction process, continues to make lifelong changes for many families. Jim Hannan CEO and President Georgia-Pacific The people of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church value our partnership with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity as one of the best ways to invest in the lives of others. Having built 40 homes in coopera-tion with Atlanta Habitat, we encourage others to join us in providing hope and help in Atlanta. Rev. Bill Britt Senior Minister Peachtree Road United Methodist Church
Our involvement with Atlanta Habitat provides an opportunity for youth and adults to put into practice the 4-H pledge of “hands to larger service.” It serves as an example that can be replicated across the nation and shows what can be accomplished by a group of committed youth and adults working together on a common goal.
