Benchmarking DatabaseA searchable database to benchmark your company against your peers. The company ranking displayed here is the same as the one available to the investment community on the Bloomberg ESG platform. The available upgrades enable you to conduct detailed benchmarking analysis to answer internal or external queries about your sustainability performance.
What is included in the different database versions?
BDB Premium This upgrade puts powerful functionality at your fingertips:
• Benchmarking down to criteria level
• Ability to filter by region
• Trend analysis of up to four years including a graphical representa-
tion of your company score against the industry at selected level
• Ability to see the ranking of all companies assessed in your industry.

BDB PremiumPLUSThis upgrade allows you to benchmark your company against other industries and to
conduct a more detailed analysis of their sustainability performance.
PremiumPLUS includes all functionalities of BDB Premium and in addition:

1. Ability to increase and refine the universe of companies
to benchmark against
• See ranking and score trends of 60 different industries
• Create up to 5 customized peer groups (select individual
companies, minimum 8)
• Benchmark your company against members of selected DJSI indices
• Benchmark your company against other industries,
indices or your custom peer groups
2. Access additional statistical insight and sorting options
• Year over Year comparison of score and percentile rank, down to
criteria level
• Potential impact of closing all gaps on total score, down to criteria level
• Weighted gap to best performing company (score gap multi -
plied by weight) within your industry, down to criteria level
• Sort by any of the above, down to criteria level
3. Ability to export data (CSV file) for analysis in your favorite program
BDB Benchmarking Database
How do I access the database? Companies invited to participate in RobecoSAM‘s Corporate
Sustainability Assessment (CSA) can access the database.
You can register or log in to your company‘s account by visiting
https://assessments.robecosam.com. To access the database, go
to the benchmarking tab. The purchase process for any premium
version is completed online.
If not stated differently during the purchase process, access is always
provided to the dataset available at the time of purchase for a period
of one year. This means access to the most recent, completed assess-
ment year and where available historical data.
What if I purchase other services?Upgrade from Premium to PremiumPLUS at a reduced fee of EUR 3’910.
PremiumPLUS access is provided free of charge with any order of
a Company Benchmarking Report (CBR). Fees already paid for the
BDB access will be deducted from any CBR fee ordered for the same
assessment year.
