Re: Daryl Chambers work on Benitec’s website

Benitec has recently employed Daryl Chambers and Progex to completely rebuild the Benitec website

(www.benitec.com). We are extremely pleased with the outcome and the value that Daryl has provided,

and we highly recommend him in this capacity due to his diligent, imaginative and professional work,

and his consistent focus on adding value and providing great customer service.

Daryl built the original Benitec website in April/May 2003. He worked successfully to ensure a very

high level of visibility on the major search engines, particularly Google, in the extremely competitive

area of RNA interference, also known as gene silencing. This original website served us well during the

early phase of Benitec as a public company, but as our strategy and market has developed, a substantially

more detailed and sophisticated site was called for.

Given his earlier work we were very comfortable that Daryl would be able to meet our needs, and indeed

he has surpassed our expectations. His understanding of the life sciences and Benitec’s business model

enabled him to develop a theme for the website that excellently reflected our business strategy and

technology, particularly with the “Focus on Genes” image that forms the core of the new website design.

This image that Daryl developed suits Benitec’s positioning in the marketplace so well that it merits

description on our homepage:

However, a successful website is clearly far more than just a pretty image. The new website that Daryl

has built for Benitec looks professional, is easy to navigate, loads quickly despite a fair amount of graphic

content, will be easy to maintain, and, overall, reflects Benitec’s position in the market as the Leader in

Gene Silencing. Given his previous success in terms of positioning our website at the top of the search

engines for all the relevant search terms, we are confident that it will attract significant web traffic, and

thereby meet our ultimate goals of increasing interest in Benitec’s business, and informing and impressing

our customers and investors.
