And evening full of the linnets wings.

Teenagers low self-esteem is due to the fact that they
Compare todays teenagers and the teenagers of yesteryear. Todays teenagers are
bewildering. They have all kinds of problems, unlike the teenagers of yesteryear whose
main problem was financial.According to a report in Time Age Magazine, teenagers at present are more
emotional. One of their main problems is low self-esteem. A research was carried out to
find out the causes of low self-esteem among teenagers. Teenagers are insecure physically
and academically. These traits are very common among schoolchildren. Amazingly, evenpre-teens were affected.
One teenager admitted she felt her friends were always better. The fact that they had
also belittled her did not help. To add salt to injury, her poor financial background isolatedher from her rich friends. They had everything while she had almost nothing. She did not
even have a bicycle, what more a mobile phone!
Academic-wise, her teachers only praised those who obtained places in the top 10and those who obtained much lower grades were basically ignored. She had striven to
double her efforts to obtain better grades, but was not supported by both friends and
teachers.Hence, she was resigned to the fact that she could never be better. She developed
low self-esteem.
