Blue Elvin NEWLYN, PENZANCE, WEST CORNWALL

The Property Blue Elvin was designed by a Penzance Architect. His design and the owner’s vision were recognised by the Royal Institution of British Architects and the property also received a special commendation from the Cornish Buildings Group. The surrounding countryside and rugged coastline offers some of the most spectacular scenery in Cornwall and much of this is open to the public through either The National Trust or the South West Coastal Path.

There are many sandy beaches which offer exceptional opportunities for swimming and surfing, whilst Marazion, around 2 miles along the coast, has a dinghy racing club and is a popular venue for windsurfing and kite surfing. Other attractions in West Cornwall include The National Trust owned St Michael’s Mount, the clifftop Minack Theatre at Porthcurno, Land’s End, Sennen and Whitesand Bay and the Tate Gallery at St Ives.

Outside From the lane that leads up to the property the house is set back behind a broad tarmaced apron which gives plentiful parking. Directions Proceed through Newlyn in the direction of Mousehole and immediately after leaving the 20mph limit and entering the 30mph limit take the right hand turning diagonally uphill where Blue Elvin will be found on the right hand side. If you reach the quarry on the road out of Newlyn you have gone too far.
