evolution in the way the whisky can be

pour neat Johnnie Walker® Blue laBel™

into a whisky tasting glass. prepare a rocks glass Full oF

ice and jug oF spring water.

step 1) sample the neat whisky to explore its rich and

unique character.

step 2) add several drops oF aromatic bitters over the

ice in the rocks glass. add Johnnie Walker® Blue laBel™

poured From the tasting glass. sample the whisky over

the ice with the added complexity From the bitters.

experience the viscosity oF the whisky changing as the

ice cools it down.

step 3) add another drop oF bitters to

the whisky and top up with the spring water to

enjoy a Further taste sensation.

manabu ohtake’s blue squall

ingredients: Johnnie Walker® Blue laBel™ 45ml,

plum syrup (japanese apricot) 15ml,

bitter truth orange bitters 2 dashes,

a big block oF ice.

glass: old Fashioned.

method: stir. stir all ingredients together in

a mixing glass and pour into a glass with ice.

garnish: orange zest

aristotelis papadopoulos’sblue rose

ingredients 60ml Johnnie Walker® Blue laBel™,

hidalgo pedro ximenez triana sherry,

rose water.

method: stir the Johnnie Walker® Blue laBel™

in a mixing glass with crystal clear ice.

in a cold crystal rocks glass spray

(with an atomizer) the hidalgo pedro ximenez

triana sherry. add the cold Johnnie Walker®

Blue laBel™ and serve with a large crystal clear

ice. Finish by spraying rose water From a distance

with an atomizer.

garnish: a blue rose petal
