This class is appealing for men and women of all ages and fitness. Using a height-adjustable step and simple movements on, over and around the step you get huge motivation from sing-along music and approachable instructors. Cardio blocks push fat-burning systems into high gear followed by muscle-conditioning tracks that shape and tone your body. EXPRESS STEP class is for 45 minutes. RPM is a 50 minute indoor cycle class based on outdoor riding. You ride to inspirational music over the equivalent of 20-25 kilometres of varied terrain, controlling the intensity of your workout with a resistance dial and pedal speed. EXPRESS RPM class is for 45 minutes. SH’BAM is 45 minute class designed for all fitness levels. It features simple but seriously hot dance moves. SH’BAM is the perfect way to shape up and let out your inner star, even if dance isn’t your natural thing. SH’BAM is set to a mix of chart topping hits, dance music, classics remixed and modernized Latin beats. Boxing A circuit style class using boxing equipment working on hand - eye coordination as well as cardiovascular fitness. If instructor qualified will incorporate kicking. Power Rip Power Rip is a 45mins total body, heart pumping, aerobic and strength conditioning workout. This interval based class combines full body strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body and improve your endurance. Modifications for all fitness levels are provided. Heart Moves A low-to-moderate intensity group exercise class suitable for anyone who hasn’t exercised before or for a long time. The programme is also designed specifically for people with heart disease, diabetes or high blood pressure. *This class is not included in Membership price. Movin’On Up Designed for beginner participants. A low impact, moderate intensity class designed to improve your fitness level. Can include use of equipment like Step, Fit Ball and Hand Weights. Zumba Gold is a special class designed for the active mature adult population or the true beginner (deconditioned) participant. A Zumba Gold class is very conscious of people’s possible physical limitations. Class followed by coffee and a chat. YAH A specially designed class for the over 40’s exerciser. It is low impact, with the emphasis on fun while getting fit. Class followed by coffee and a chat. Aqua A class for those wanting to improve their fitness. The class is designed to offer alternatives to all exercises so that people can workout at their own level or pace. Suitable for beginners through to the advance participant. Pilates Pilates is a conditioning routine that helps build flexibility, muscle strength and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips and back. It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing and developing a strong core as well as improving coordination and balance. Yoga Yoga is a series of postures and breathing exercises practiced to achieve total control of the body and mind. X Trainer A freestyle, non choreographed, class focusing on cardio and functional strength exercises to give you an overall total body workout. Offering a variety of training styles to suit beginners to advanced participants. Fit 4 Kidz Fit 4 Kidz is a 45 mins exercise class targeted at children between the ages of 4-12. This class seeks to promote a healthy lifestyle, develop a lifelong passion for physical activity and sport, decrease childhood obesity and increase confidence. Only runs during school terms.
