You are a spiritual being in human form. Body, mind and spirit together
form the one and only you.
Being Spirit has been written with you in mind. Spirit wanted their
teachings to reach us in a clear and simple way to help create a greater
understanding or their existence, their world and their role in our
daily lives.
You came from Spirit and will return to spirit. We all know we cannot
live forever in human form. It is being an everlasting spiritual energy
that we’ll explore in this first book. Not only that but to provide an
insight to why you are here and why you are living this life.
Being Spirit was created by three separate yet blended energies.
It was instigated by a group of Spirit Guides in the spirit world. They
provided much of the content for the book. This is primary evidence of
their existence and involvement with us. Spirit used the channelling
skills of Janet Neville a Spiritual Medium. Janet would receive the
content from Spirit in her mind. It would be passed on in spoken or
written form to Steve Bridger who would write the narrative flow and
include word-for-word the messages from Spirit in the book.
Here’s an example:
“The purpose of communication from our world to yours is to prove that life is eternal.
Your spirit is impossible to extinguish, it will live forever in thought and energy. The main
purpose is to prove to the friends and loved ones of the deceased that while they
have left their earthly body, they are very much alive in spirit and energy.
It gives great joy and comfort for any spirit to be able to make this communication back
to the earth. It’s sent with an abundance of love and happiness.”

Excerpt from Chapter Two – Psychic and Spiritual Mediums
“It’s easy for people to get confused between psychic mediums and Spiritual
Mediums. Psychic Mediums use their talents to read auras to gain knowledge
about a person. Psychic Mediums are sometimes referred to as fortune
tellers as they focus on predicting current or future events. They rely
on their sense of intuition to gather information. They read people’s
auras using their E.S.P (Extra Sensory Perception) skills.
Spiritual Mediums are not fortune tellers.
They receive information direct from the spirit world by working with
their guides. Messages they receive give comfort and encouragement to
people who may have recently lost a loved one. It may be to confirm that
their pain and suffering is over, to provide advice on a private or family
matter. This is personal proof that life continues in an everlasting state.
An essential part of any message is to share love. Many spiritual mediums
finish a message with the words I’ll leave their love with you. Spiritual
mediums will never divulge really personal details in an open service.”
Excerpt from Chapter Four – Angels
These are the words of spirit:
“An angel is a spirit that has transcended from the divine light to help
and protect us. They are light in the purest form and are sent to help
people in moments of extreme distress. They can come in many different
categories from the Archangels through to an angelic spirit sent to help
a person on your earth who is suffering from living a material life.
Imagine a vast empty space where the intensity of light is so great that
it would be impossible for any physical form to view through unprotected
eyes. Also imagine air that is so light that you could float. Imagine a
feeling of the utmost euphoria that you could burst with love. All these
sensations combined together are the energy of an angel. This is possible
only because this energy is pure spirit that has been untouched by any
negativity.”
An example of a webpage blog:

I stole that headline. It was attributed to Oscar Wilde the famous writer, poet and playwright. It fits beautifully with the theme of reconnecting to your inner self, to revisit the very core of your being. The idea is to take a mental shower and flush-away the build-up of low self-esteem, self-doubt and any misguided feelings of failure right down the swirling plughole. You are incredible. Get used to it. Never doubt it. As a spiritual being you have love, care and compassion built into your soul. The thing is that living in the 21st century we are both blessed and cursed with technology. Our interaction with each other is through radio waves and devices that allow us to hide behind a very small rectangular screen that gives and receive messages that are intensely personal affecting the way we feel for good or crap. It’s easy to become so reliant on technology and swept up in the hustle of daily life that you are no longer developing your God-given talents. You may have reached a certain point then pressed the ‘stop’ button. Don’t self-limit. You’re here to experience so much. Don’t stand by as life zips past. You’ll regret it.
Love yourself. Listen to your body. Your soul is crying out for attention. Here are some exercises for a good workout in the spiritual gym of life:
1. Make physical contact (preferably eye-to-eye) with someone, especially someone who is feeling
low and needs you.
2. Direct your energy dynamo of loving and caring towards your family and friends.
3. Be there to guide a friend through dark times. Reach out if you spot the signs of depression.
4. Send courage, wisdom, strength, positivity to people who need it – this can be people you know
or even better, random folk you’ve never met before. Smiles and hugs are your ammunition.
5. Following on from 4. Do at least one random act of kindness every day. You’ll be amazed at the
reaction you get. You’ll feel warm inside.
6. Do something to help the planet and everything on it and in it. We’re custodians’ not squatters.

The author did a great job of explaining the concept of spirituality so that anyone that read this book can understand
what they are reading. This was well written and a great read!
