BORING MACHINE TUNNELING ATTACHMENT

For applications where line and grade are critical and tunnel diameter is greater than 48″ a

Barbco Boring Machine Tunnel Attachment (BMTA) is the equipment of choice. The BMTA

has a cutting head that is individually powered, separate from the power supply of the

boring machine itself. Electric over hydraulic controls provide maximum control ability of line

and grade.

The boring machine provides BMTA’s range in size from 42″ to 96″ and are suited for soft

ground to hard rock steel case bores. All BMTA’s are equipped with a quick disconnect ring

for easy detachment from the casing when the bore is complete.
