* You m ay f ind that i t is a good idea to keep abattery installed in the unit even while using

an adaptor. That way your playing won't bedisrupted even if the adaptor is accidentallydisconnected.

* If you ar e going to use an AC adaptor , be sureto u se the specif ied un it (BO SS PSA- Serie s).U se of any other adaptor m ay result in dam-age, malfunction or electric shock.

Also, if you are no t going to be u sing it for anextended period of t ime, disconnect the ACadaptor from the AC outlet.

* The IN PU T jack also serves as the pow ersw itch. Pow er is turned on w henever a plug isinserted into the IN PU T jack, and is turned off w hen the plug is disconnected. W hen notusing the unit, you should disconnect anycord connected to the IN PU T jack.

* Inserting a plug into the IN PU T Jack w il l autom atical ly sw itch the unit on.

* To prevent m alfunction and/or dam age to speakers or other devices, alw ays turn dow n thevolume, and turn o ff the pow er on al l devices before m aking any connections.

* I f there are batter ies in the unit w hile an AC adaptor is being used, norm al operation w il l continueshould the l ine voltage be interrupted (pow er blackout or pow er cord disconnection).

* O nce the connections have been completed, turn on pow er to your var ious devices in the orderspecified. By turning on devices in the w rong order, you r isk causing malfunct ion and/ or dam ageto speakers and other devices.

W hen pow e ring up: Turn on the pow e r to your guitar am p last.W h en p ow e ri ng d ow n : T ur n of f t he po w e r to yo ur gu it ar a m p fi rst .

* Alw ays m ake sure to have the volume level turned dow n before sw itching on pow er. Even w iththe volume al l the w ay dow n, you m ay sti l l hear som e sound w hen the pow er is sw itched on, butthis is norm al, and does not indicat e a m alfunction.

* W hen operat ing on battery pow er only, the unit s ind icator wi l l becom e d im w hen battery power gets too low. Replace the battery as soon as possible.

* The CH ECK indicator show s w hether the effect is being applied or not. I t does not indicatew hether the pow er to the device is on or not.

Rep lace the ba t te ry fo l low ing the steps be lo w .

1.Loosen the thum bscrew a t the fron t o f the

peda l , then l i f t t he peda l upw ards to o pen theun i t .

* The thumbscrew can be left in the pedalw hile changing the battery.

2.Rem ove the o ld ba t tery f rom the ba t te ry hou s-

ing , and remo ve the snap co rd co nnec ted to i t .

3.Conn ec t the snap co rd to the new ba t te ry , and

p lace the b a t te ry ins ide the ba t tery h ou sing .

* Be sure to carefully observe the battery+spolarity (+ versus -).

4.Sl ip the co i l sp r in g on to the spr in g base on the

back o f the peda l , then c l ose the peda l .

* Car efully avoid getting the snap cord caughtin the coil spring.

5.Fina l l y , i n se rt t he thu m bscrew in to the

gu id e bu sh h o l e and fasten i t secure ly .
