resource that not only assists the Brightwater State School with projects and supplies but has the added benefit of supporting local businesses, families
and the Brightwater community.
If you would like to become a part of the directory there are a number of options available to list your business and/or become a member of Friends
of Brightwater.

The P&C Assoc Supporters’ Directory has been distributed to families of Brightwater State School and via the supporting businesses. Connections have been made via links from the BWSS website to the P&C.
Please keep an eye on the P&C Assoc Supporters’ Directory website for ongoing businesses added and their extent of support.
The P&C Assoc Supporters’ Directory is an avenue of the School Council to support families within BWSS, local business and the community with the key objective to promote local business and to give back to the school community through incentives and discounted prices. This includes donations of funds back to the school for resources.

Brightwater State School is home to over 752 students which is constently on the
rise due to the recognition of this growth the P&C and School Council have joined ‘Friends of Brightwater’ partnerships with local businesses.
The directory has been developed to support the schools resources, purchases and projects in order to benefit the students and further strengthen and support lasting relationships with local business, industry and c o m m u n i t y o r g a n i s a t i o n s providing a bright future for our children and the community.
The P&C Assoc Supporters’ Directory’ provides local businesses with the opportunity to promote their products and services in tandem with supporting the Brightwater State School students and families by giving additional incentives at
reduced prices.
Businesses listed in the directory are offering all kinds of products and services that will benefit the students and their families whilst kindly donating some of those funds back to the school for resources. One example is a number of the businesses are giving 5 – 10% off costs and giving those sales another 5– 10% coming
back to the school for resources.
We are proud of our local businesses within the Directory and would further like to thank and appreciate their ongoing support.

School Banking at Brightwater State School is a fun, interactive way for children to learn about money and develop good savings habits. Students deposit money into their Youthsaver account through School Banking and earn Dollarmites tokens which they can redeem for exciting rewards. The youthsaver account has no monthly account fee and no withdrawal fees
when you use CommBank ATMs and Branches. Bonus interest is earned when you make just one deposit and no withdrawals each calendar month.
It’s also a great fundraising activity, with our school receiving 5% commission on every deposit made at school (up to a maximum of $10 commission per individual deposit). We also earn $5 each time a student banks at our school for the very first time).

The Brightwater community association is focussed on fostering a great community spirit and ensures that amenities and community areas are established and maintained.
Membership of the committe is open to everyone with an interest in Brightwater and there is no charge to join.

The Brightwater Neighbourhood watch program is active in the Brightwater community and will be working with local police and volunteers to protect our community spaces, property and our greatest assets our homes.
