A Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is a measure to determine
the performance of a critical activity or process
A KPI:
Will be measured timely and accurate
Will be measured according to plan (expected result) and a
target (long term)
Can (must) be influenced by the person or team who will
follow-up on the KPI
