The particular state of being for theaged in our time and the attack on their autonomy, in the best of circumstances, brings on anger and conflict and, in the worst,hopelessness and despair. We will discuss strategies to understand and manage conflict in the context of homecare.Our caregivers are sent in to engage with people during the most difficult phase of life. The emotional cauldron awaiting them canbe overwhelming and we need to learn how to take care of the caregivers so that the better angels of all our nature can thriveand grow.
