Business Origami Understanding users’ needs and turning them into amazing product experiences
Business Origami is a powerful research method for modelling and understanding complex services. It allows us describe how users experience a service making emphasis on key touch points of interaction that can be translated into a variety of methods for idea generation such as journey maps.
Power comes from participation. Since this a direct, hands-on tangible artifacts method, it is easy for everyone to contribute without requiring diagramming skills or following any flowchart conventions.
Make paper cutouts to represent the different parts of a system or service. They can be very general, for instance cutouts of a single person to represent a specific actor, and a group of people to represent an organization or community

Arrange them on a horizontal whiteboard and ask participants to show relationships between actors and organizations on a given scenario.
