We all need to work together to do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19."Shelter-in-Place" doesn't mean you can't stay connected with friends and family.Schedule phone calls or video chats to support one another, laugh together and to

celebrate life's big moments during this time.

CELEBRATING SPECIAL EVENTSDURING COVID-19

People who look healthy still can be infected and can spread the virusto you and your household. That's why it's important to stay away fromthose outside your household, even if they don't seem sick.

Spread of the virus happens most frequently with close contacts.By hosting or attending a gathering, you're increasing everyone'srisk of getting infected .

Consider these reasons to postpone special events during this time.

Your grandparents and family members with underlying healthconditions are at a higher risk of contracting COVID-19. It's yourresponsibility to protect those at high risk.

Gatherings are limited to ONLY those you live with. Extended family orguests should not be allowed over for any occasion.

BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY.

SPECIAL EVENTS = PERSON TO PERSON CONTACT.

YOU'RE PUTTING LOVED ONES AT RISK!

HOUSEHOLD MEANS ONLY THOSE YOU LIVE WITH.

Surgical masks are best, but shouldbe reserved for healthcare workers. The general public is encouraged towear cloth masks that are reusableafter washing.

Masks are to be used by persons infected

with the COVID-19 virus, healthcare

professionals, and the general public.

Staying home, social distancing(staying 6 feet away from people) andhandwashing are most effective.Wearing a mask DOES NOT replace theimportance of these strategies.
