Having difficulty getting a pool car at short notice! Our Council now has corporate membership of the Co-Wheels Car Club in Dumfries allowing Council Staff use of the four Kia Rios parked in designated parking bays at DGOne, 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. In order to do this Council Staff will need to register with Co-Wheels first (there is no cost to the employee for this). Car Club vehicles are ideal for low mileage journeys of a short duration.  For longer journeys, pool cars or hires should be used.  Links to the appropriate information can be found on Connect or if you would like any further advice on the scheme please contact the Sustainable Travel Team on 64133.
