PROFICIENCY 4.0: THE TEACHER CANDIDATE DISPLAYS A PROFESSIONAL COMMITMENT TO
THE TEACHING PHILOSOPHY OF DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTION TO SUPPORT STUDENTS’ DIVERSE LEARNING NEEDS AND TO MAXIMIZE LEARNING.
Present Without eff ective classroom
management, you can not teach anything!
Classroom management is less about rules more about procedures.
Teachers who have a fi rm but mutually respectful relationship with students have stronger classroom management.
Diff erentiation facilitates eff ective classroom management by providing students with tasks that are challenging, yet attainable.
Evolution of Teaching Philosophy
Past It is essential to
create a classroom of mutual respect!
Address learner diff erences through diff erentiated instruction
Constructivist learning enables students to create long term learning
My philosophy did not really change, but has been enhanced by experiences in classroom!
