YOU CAN ONLY SEE WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO SEE

MOREC incorporates the ERD™ sensor and custom designed casing mandrel into the casing string, and is cemented in place.

The Casing Conveyed monitoring system is most commonly used in the observation well application. In an observation well program, the ERD™ sensors observe reservoir activity in a non-producing well from a different vantage point of the reservoir. This information provides insight into different reservoir affects occurring at that specific point during offset stimulations, steam injection, vapor/water floods, etc for the purpose of long term reservoir studies.

Continuous real-time data is available during cementing, underbalanced drilling, perforating, hydraulic fracture and production operations. The MOREC system is extremely useful for optimizing hydraulic fracture models. Real-time bottomhole pressure

data eliminates friction-related errors associated with all fracture models. Having bottomhole data tied into the frac van allows for making decisions on-the-fly.

The MOREC system provides information for reservoir analysis and production optimization – even during workover operations, that take most other monitoring systems out of service. Unscheduled shut-ins provide excellent opportunities for pressure build-up tests.

For reservoir pressure and temperature monitoring in observation wells, the MORECEX system combines the Owen Oil Tools perforating assembly in conjunction with the MOREC system. The result is added assurance of ERD™ pressure sensor communication to the reservoir.

Real time downhole Pressure/Temperature monitoring protects your assets, and provides information to increase your production.
