HOLY DAYS OF OBLIGATION– MASS TIMES VIGIL: 5:30 PM 9:00 AM, 7:00 PM BAPTISMS – Every 1st and 3rd Sunday at 11:30 AM. Call the Rectory Office 6-8 weeks in advance for arrangements. Godparents’ Letters of Eligibility are due one month before the Baptism. PRE-JORDAN – Expectant and/or new parents are to participate in a class on Baptism. This session is held on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 11:30AM. It is necessary to call the Rectory in advance of the class to register. MARRIAGES–Arrangements should be made at least six months before the date of the wedding. Please call one of the priests. ANOINTING OF THE SICK-In case of serious illness or surgery, please contact one of our parish priests. This Sacrament can also be administered after any weekday Mass. Please see the priest in the Sacristy. HOME VISITS- Anyone unable to attend Mass regularly due to illness may call the Rectory to make arrangements to receive Communion in their homes. CHARISMATIC PRAYER- Tuesdays in the Chapel at 7:30 PM. CENTERING PRAYER- Fridays in the Chapel at 9:00 AM RCIA–For those contemplating becoming Catholic or adults who were baptized Catholic but not confirmed. Contact the rectory . PARISH UPDATES
These are updates or changes to the day-to-day operations of St. Maxilimian Kolbe CHURCH AVAILABILITY The church and chapel remain open daily from 9am until 2pm and Sunday 8am to 11:00 am until we receive different directives from the Archdiocese. The Sacrament of Reconciliation continues to be celebrated by appointment. FUNERALS Funerals will be handled on a case-by-case basis, again with due regard for the limitation of participants and reasonable social distancing. ROUTINE OFFICE MATTERS The rectory office is open Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 1:00pm. All routine office matters must be handled over phone, mail, or email. Phone messages are being checked daily. You can leave a message on the main line. PREP AND CONFIRMATION At this time, all PREP has been suspended until further notice. Information can be found on the website for how you can complete the year at home with your child. First Holy Communion has been postponed until a later date. PALM SUNDAY, HOLY WEEK, AND EASTER As you may have heard, the Archbishop has made the difficult decision that there will be no public celebrations of Palm Sunday or the Sacred Paschal Triduum, including Easter Sunday, this year. Please check the website and Facebook page for more updates about how you can participate in Holy Week and Easter.

St. Maximilian Music Ministry Get Involved!
The Lord commanded us to "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). How are you using your God-given talents? The gift of music is a treasure to be shared. The Music Ministry at St. Max offers a variety of musical experiences for parishioners of all ages as Cantors, Choir members, and Instrumentalists. We are currently seeking new members to join our Adult Choir – specifically but not limited to Altos and Tenors. The ability to read music is helpful but is not required.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL VBS Team Forming - Help Needed! We are preparing to offer Vacation Bible School this summer but need a team of adults to help us make it happen! Our theme this year is Jesus' Power Pulls Us Through and the students will learn how that happened in the early church and discover how it happens in our lives NOW! Please contact the PREP office if you would be willing and able to help supervise an activity station that week: Games, Bible Adventures, Open/Close celebrations, Imagination Station (science based activities), KidVid Cinema, Registration/Snacks; or assist with the decoration/set-up effort in advance, There are always talented youth who are able to help, but we are required to have one adult in every area to comply with educational and safety regulations. VBS is scheduled for the week of June 15th-19th. Note: All volunteers must complete required clearances and mandated safe environment training. St. Agnes Easter Dinner Project 2020
Due to the challenges surrounding the Coronavirus, the ham collection for the St. Agnes Day Room Easter Dinner Project has been cancelled for 2020. However, the people served by the Day Room will continue to need food.
