This Guide will help you log in and navigate the Online Benefit Enrollment System To Log In: Go to the new CCSNH Benefits web site at www.ccsnh.edu/humanresources/benefits.html and click on ‘CCS Online Benefit Enrollment System’ Logging in: 1. Your Username is your last name (hyphens removed) followed by the 2 digit month and 2 digit day of your birth date. 2. Type in ‘ccsnh’ in the company identifier field. 3. Your default password, which you will be required to change once you log in, is ‘CCSNH’ followed by the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number. Change the Default Password: 1. Your old password is the default password from the Login page. 2. Your new password should be at least 8 characters in length and contain a mix of letters and numbers. CCS Online Benefit Enrollment System How to Log on and Enroll in Benefits as a New Hire

Welcome to CCSNH! Please review your benefit options and make your choices before logging in. This Guide will help you log in and navigate the Online Benefit Enrollment System

To Log In: Go to the new CCSNH Benefits web site at www.ccsnh.edu/humanresources/benefits.html

and click on ‘CCS Online Benefit Enrollment System’

Logging in: 1. Your Username is your last

name (hyphens removed) followed by the 2 digit month and 2 digit day of your birth date.

2. Type in ‘ccsnh’ in the company identifier field.

3. Your default password, which you will be required to change once you log in, is ‘CCSNH’ followed by the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number.

Change the Default Password:

1. Your old password is the default password from the Login page.

2. Your new password should be at least 8 characters in length and contain a mix of letters and numbers.

Review Terms and Conditions:

• When finished, click Yes and Accept.

These fields are case sensitive.

Welcome Page Now that you have logged in successfully, let’s get familiar with these pages: 1. Logout - protect your

information and log out when you leave your desk

2. ‘About’ Sidebar – more information about this page. Press the arrow icon to the far right to expand a sidebar.

3. Additional Sidebar(s) provide specific instructions on what you can do on each page.

4. Link to send an email to the CCSNH benefits Administrator

Your Password 1. You do not have to change

your password again. Check the box that says ‘Use existing password’.

2. Enter a Challenge Question and Answer, which you can use later in the event you have forgotten your password.

Your Email Address Your CCSNH email address is used within the Benefits Enrollment system for notifications. Please verify your email address here. If this field is blank please enter your email address, and notify your College or CCSNH HR Representative so that we can update other College systems.

Add Your Dependents On this page, you can add your dependents • Press the ‘Add’ button to

make additions.

Add your Dependent Information Enter all required fields (as denoted by an * symbol). Please Note: This step does not automatically attach the new dependent(s) to your benefits. Please use the Enrollment process to make benefit enrollment changes impacting dependent(s).

Verify Dependent and add more if needed

1. Review the information you entered, and press the change button if you notice a mistake.

2. Add a Child, if needed 3. If you do not need to add a

Child, press Save to continue.

Confirmation Page When you reach this page you know that you have successfully gone through the initial log in and dependent entry steps.

Welcome Page Once you “Proceed to your Account” you will land on the initial Welcome Page. Here you will click on “My Benefits” and then “Enroll (Review/Change Benefits)

Enroll in Benefits

1. This date is the deadline for benefit changes. This is the date that your 31-day enrollment window closes. You can make changes up until that date.

2. Select one of the three enrollment paths. It is recommended that you select the first path ‘Walk me through the process’.

Medical Plans (HMO or Buy-Out) On this page, Enroll in the HMO Medical Plan. Or, you may apply for the Buy-Out plan. (Do not click the ‘Decline’ box on this page if you are enrolling the Buy-Out plan). Click Continue. Please Note: When selecting Coverage, your eligible dependents(s) will appear in the window. Checked boxes indicate that you are requesting they will be covered under this plan choice.

HRA (Health Reimbursement Arrangement) All employees choosing the HMO medical plan must enroll in the HRA. If you have selected the Medical Buy-Out plan, you must Decline the HRA. Click Continue.

Pharmacy All employees with a medical plan enrollment must enroll in the pharmacy plan. If you have selected the Medical Buy-Out plan, you must Decline the Pharmacy plan. Click Continue.

Dental Plan On this page, Enroll in or decline the Dental enrollment. Click continue.

Enroll in Additional Benefits The following pages allow you to enroll in the following CCSNH benefits: • Voluntary Life for Employee,

Spouse and Child • FSA Plans for Dependent Care

and Medical care expenses

Note: Press the Continue button at the bottom of each page. If you choose to decline coverage for any of these benefits, please check the box next to ‘Decline’ on those pages.

Before you Finish You may see a warning or a notice on the next screen. Follow any instructions provided – you may need to return Click Continue. Benefits Summary This page shows a summary of your requested enrollments. It also shows the company provided Basic Life and AD&D, and the Basic LTD plan in which you were auto-enrolled upon hire. Review the Benefits Summary Page and decide if you need to make more changes, or if you want to submit the enrollment to the Benefits Administrator.

After you have submitted your changes

1. Click here for a printer-friendly version of your recent changes.

2. Click here for a printer-friendly version of your Benefits Statement

3. Go to the Status of My Enrollments header to keep track of the status of the enrollments.

Status of My Requests Check back to this page to track your status. You may also receive email messages when the status is updated.

When Benefits are Approved • Benefit vendors such as Anthem BCBS or Delta Dental will be notified of your enrollment choices and of your dependent(s). ID cards

will be issued by the vendors and sent directly to your home address. • Paycheck deductions, if applicable, will commence in the next pay period.

How to Navigate the CCS Online Benefit Enrollment System:

My Benefits > Benefits at a Glance Once approved by the Benefit Administrator, your enrollments and cost information (both employee deductions and employer cost) appear on this page. Note: Retirement Plan participation is not reflected in this site.

My Benefits > Enroll (Review / Change Benefits) This page is mainly used for New Hire Enrollment, and for the Open Enrollment period. You can also utilize this page throughout the year to view a printer-friendly version of your benefits summary.

My Benefits > Change Benefits (Life Events) This page is used when you experience a Qualified Life Event, and need to make benefit changes.

My Information > Personal – View Only On this page you can view your information that is shared with the various benefit vendors (Anthem BCBS, Delta Dental, etc). Please not that you cannot make any updates here; please contact HR to make and changes.

My Information > Dependents – View Only On this page you can view your information that is shared with the various benefit vendors (Anthem BCBS, Delta Dental, etc). You can toggle between each dependent using the drop down field at the top of the page.
