Did You Know? What is child sex trafficking? Child sex trafficking occurs when a minor is involved in a commercial sex act where sex is traded for money, food, shelter, drugs or anything else of value. Perpetrators of sex trafficking often target children believing their age makes them easier to manipulate and control. This crime is occurring in all types of communities throughout the U.S. and traffickers are making an alarming profit while victims endure abuse and violence. One of the most important things you can do to protect your child is to create an environment in which he or she feels comfortable talking with you as a trusted adult. EPIPHANY HOUSE BLESSING

The Epiphany House Blessing comes from the old Roman Ritual. The current year and the initials of the Magi (Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar) are marked above the doorway to one's home with chalk:

20 + C M B + 20

as those present say this prayer:

May all who come to our home this year rejoice to find Christ living among us; and may we seek and serve in

every one we meet, Jesus, who is Lord for ever and ever. Amen.

Another explanation for the initials C-M-B is

"Christus mansionem benedicat"

siempre.

AMÉN.

Otra explicación de las iniciales C-M-B es

"Christus mansionem benedicat"

Latin por "Que Dios bendiga este hogar"
