Financial Institutions (FIs) need to balance risk mitigation and compliance concerns with the need for

efficiency and back-office simplicity. The Centrix Payments I.Q. System (Centrix PIQS™) Risk Worksheet

Module manages this tension by helping FIs automate the detection of, response to, and reporting of

risk throughout multiple transactional channels.

Risk Worksheet features & benefitsData integration from multiple transaction channels

• The PIQS Risk Worksheet automatically

integrates all ACH activity from the

Centrix PIQS data warehouse, including

originated transaction activity, returns,

NOC history, and over-limit violations.

• Non-ACH data—such as account

balances, overdraft history, loan

information, and Remote Deposit

and Wire Activity—can also be

included on the Risk Worksheet

to provide a comprehensive view

of the entire relationship.

Easy documentation

• Notes can be added to the Risk

Worksheet to document findings

relevant to the assessment.

• ACH agreements and other relevant

files or scanned documents can

be attached to the review as

supporting documentation.

• All review activity is archived for

auditing purposes. Audit history

can be retrieved and displayed for

individual reviews or for a specified

time frame.

Improved workflow

• Risk Worksheets can be created either

on demand or automatically on a

predefined schedule. Review frequency

is determined by the risk level of the

originator and defined by the institution.

• The Relationship Manager assigned to

the originator is automatically notified

when a new Risk Worksheet is created.

• Users can sort originators by institution-

defined reporting tags, allowing easy

grouping of Risk Worksheets in need

of review.

• User-level permissions determine if

the reviewing employee is authorized

to modify or finalize a Risk Worksheet,

as well as define the limit increases the

employee can approve.

• Routing functionality allows the

user to forward the worksheet to an

administrator for final approval.

• Upon final approval, suggested limit

changes are automatically applied

to the originator.

Working in concert with PIQS’ ACH risk reporting and ACH file

validation, the risk worksheet helps provide unparalleled control over

daily ACH activity. The result is improved detection of questionable

transactions, simplified compliance, and increased efficiency through

risk assessment automation.
