Certificate Request
1.1 Introduction to Sage Pastel Certificates Sage Pastel no longer provides printed certificates. Certificates are automatically
generated and distributed electronically via our Learner Management System.
1.2 When will you receive a certificate? You will only receive a certificate once you have passed the assessment related to the
course or certification you have attended.
1.3 Which email address will the Learner Management System use? The Learner Management System will use the contact information you have recorded on
your profile on the Sage Pastel Training Zone. It is important to ensure that your contact
information is correct, valid and up to date. Sage Pastel does not take responsibility for
any incorrect information recorded on the Training Zone.
1.4 How do I change my contact details? If your contact information is incorrect or have changed, log into your profile via the
Training Zone. Click on the Update Personal Details link and complete the required
fields with the correct information.
Once you have completed the necessary fields, scroll to the bottom of the page and click
on the Update Details button.

1.5 How do I log into the Training Zone? Navigate to www.pastel.co.za (or www.sagepastel.com for all our international users).
Once the page opens, navigate to the Sage Pastel Zones tab.
Select the Training Zone link as indicated below:
You can create a new profile or log into your existing profile from this screen:

For our International users, once the page opens, select the Login to Sage Pastel Zones
tab then click on the Training Zone block:

1.6 I cannot remember my login details? If you cannot remember your login details, please send your Name, Surname and
Identification Number to [email protected] or [email protected] and a
consultant will respond to your request.

1.7 How do I request my certificates? Step 1: Access the Training Zone as indicated earlier in this document.
Step 2: Click on the Login link. Log into the Training Zone using your login details:
Step 3: The following page displays. Click on the Certificate Request link:

Step 4: The following screen displays all your certifications:
This page allows you to verify your email address. Ensure that it is correct, as this
is the email address that will be used to send the certificate to. If it is incorrect,
click on the Update details link to change it.
The Assessments Written section details the following information:
• serial number
• assessment description
• result achieved
• date written
Step 5: Click on the Email button to send your certificate. The following message
displays:

Step 6: You can expect an email from [email protected]:
When you open the email your certificate will be attached:

1.8 I receive an error when requesting my certificate?
1.8.1 This can be due to the following:
• There is no result linked to the certificate request, ie. 0% or a failed result.
• Internet connection issue.
