LiYLR is a container for inspiration, community and action. It provides the frames for experiencing one s own passion, a ́safe space to try and test its manifestations and a social network of like-minded people to ensure further support of the newly awakened ideas. It is the best performance for the world, from which people become inspired and enabled to be active change agents for a better world.

LiYLR is a series of events hosted in

peoples' living rooms. Each event combines a musical performance with dialogues

about real-world social projects. LiYLR brings together hosts, musicians, project leaders, and their network for music and meaningful conversation in an intimate space. The music serves to relax and inspire the participants. The musicians

share personal stories to kindle an environment of trust. The project

leaders gain new input. Together, the music and action build solidarity,

encourage personal passion and unite people with diverse backgrounds. Each participant is a contributor. To date we have held 4 LiYLR events, launched an online social platform,

and developed a 12-step approach to guide future events. In the future, we plan to tour the United States in order to

generate interest and spread the movement.

LET’S GET PERSONAL, utilizes humor, absurdity and the self-help culture to deliver a provocative performance about the role of personal branding in attaining professional success. Lewis, who is known for merging technology, theatre and dance, delivers this parody in the form of a motivational lecture and workshop on how to successfully use blunders on Facebook and official public apologies for personal optimization. In twisting the entire milieu of motivational speaking she acidly comments on the roles of collective bedazzlement, radical political positioning, and the arts in a society increasingly driven by the experience economy See:http://www.dcartscenter.org/event.htm#PastTheater

Playing for Change is a non-profit organisation founded by Kinnevik that

supports social entrepreneurs who improve the lives of children and

youth. We believe that the best way to create a social change is to give

the right tools to people who is passionate about their task and who has

the entrepreneurial driving force to make a change.  The choosen

entrepreneurs, we call them our Playmakers, get financial support but

also advice and mentoring from a network of employees within the

Kinnevik Group companies. The goal is to help the entrepreneurs build

sustainable operations that will have a great social   impact.

“It gives me the chills. It challenges the performer to communicate to the audience in a totally different way.” Karen Troldborg, DK, singer performer at LIYLR # 1 in Århus

“Having a stage so close to the audience and with no microphones or sound system makes the experience so much more intimate.” Hanna von Bergen, NO, performer at LIYLR # 1 in Århus

“I experienced the same thing in Sweden. The artists had to apply to play there! Would be cool to see it in other parts of the world too.” Emmi Uutela, FIN, student @ Team academy

“This is bringing music back to how it´s supposed to be, the artists using their love for playing to raise the spirits of people in their community” Bjarke Østergaard, DK, Vestas Århus
