CLIFTON PARK – Clifton Park Church Association will off er a program enti-tled “Encountering God: A Saturday Morning Prayer Refresher” March 7th, at Corpus Christi Church, 2001 Route 9, Round Lake, from 8:30-11:30am. Speakers at this interdenominational event will explain/demonstrate traditional prayer strategies as well as listening prayer. Practice time and group interaction will be included. WATERFORD – A Lenten Quiet Day will be from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, March 7. The Rev. Kathy Alonge-Coons will celebrate Palm Sunday Services at 7:30 and 9:30am on March 29. Rick Hacker will perform as or-ganist. During Holy Week Monday, March 30 through Good Friday, April 3 Morn-ing Prayer will begin at 8am. A Maundy Thursday Liturgy of the Holy Eucharist and covered dish supper will be-gin at 6pm on April 2. Good Friday Services will be held at noon and 7pm on April 3. Walking the Way of the Cross through the village of Waterford will start after the noon service. An Easter Vigil Service will begin at 7pm on Saturday, April 4. CAPITAL DISTRICT - Northeast Mobile Search and Rescue (NEMSAR) is looking for a few good women and men to join our team. NEMSAR is a 501 (c) (3) not for profit, all volunteer search team located in Clifton Park. We search for lost people of all ages working with the NYS Police, County Sheriff, Local Police, Fire Departments, and the NYS DEC Forest Rangers.
