Improv Club to Hold AuditionsCLIFTON PARK – The Improv Club of Clifton Park is hold-ing auditions for experienced performers who want to join an improvisation/sketch comedy troupe. American Legion Post 1450 Donates to Local CharitiesHALFMOON – American Legion Mohawk Post 1450 Com-mander Jim Valenti announced that the Post recently made its annual Christmas donations of over $12,000 to local charities and non-profi t organizations. Contributions totaling over $8000 were made to local family and youth oriented organizations such as The Saratoga Center for the Family, Regional Food Bank, CAPTAIN Youth and Family Services, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Community Hospice, Pennies from Heaven (help-ing 11 children’s charities), and Shenendehowa Helping Hands Food Pantry. Additionally, the post helped support our veterans by donating over $5000 to Stratton V.A. Hospital’s Adaptive Sports Program and Veteran’s Holiday Committee, The Na-tional Honor Guard, and the Homeless Men’s and Women’s Veterans Facilities in Ballston Spa. The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness.
