Our annual summit has progressed to become the ultimate plat-form for sharing knowledge, fostering innovation and establishing new relationships. Back for a swinging sixth year with the motto “Collaborating to Build a Better World”, we are thrilled to invite you to join the ranks of this prestigious global network of visiona-ries, trendsetters and change makers from all reaches and walks of life.

Prepare yourself for an inspiring line-up of outstanding women and men – on and off stage – from around the world and be part of a stimulating conversation as we look at the opportunities of the future and bring a fresh perspective to today’s biggest challen-ges. Alongside an interactive agenda, let’s together find solutions to the most pressing economic and political developments, such as the impending global trade disputes and the shifting world security landscape. What are the important corporate tendencies

and tech trends that we need to keep pace with and how can we grasp the opportunities of our expanding digital economy? We will explore how the work environment and human leadership skills need to evolve to help us adapt and thrive in this world of continuous technological disruption.

To tackle these questions, let’s convene and mine collective intel-ligence from a diverse and high profile network; raise our global voices and amplify the stories to be heard and achieve change for the betterment of our societies.

In this spirit of excitement, we invite you to browse through the programme and see for yourself what awaits you, not to forget the opportunity to invest in your personal and corporate profile through the invaluable exposure that the summit provides.

Advisory Board

L’Oréal-UNESCO FOR WOMEN IN SCIENCE fellowship programme

The Global Female Leaders’ advisory board is a diverse and international source of dedicated support and valuable expert advice. Its members are leaders in their professional field as well as representatives for their regions. Their combined excellence has contributed profoundly to making this summit the first tier must-attend event for female thought leaders it is today. Onsite they are your ambassadors for various topics, industries and regions.

Do not hesitate to approach us. We all look forward to seeing you in Berlin!

Tina A. Breidenbach | Head of Advertising Sales Germany | Bloomberg Media | Germany

Since 1998 UNESCO and L’Oréal support the work of outstanding women in science across 112 different countries. For Women in Science encourages the vocations of girls in high school, supports women in research, and recognizes excellence in fields where women are underrepresented.

In Germany, very often highly qualified women interrupt considerably their promising career or even disrupt it when they start a family. This is why L’Oréal Germany and the German commission for UNESCO in cooperation with the foundation of the nobel prize winner Professor Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard created in 2006 the German FOR WOMEN IN SCIENCE fellowship programme which addresses especially to female researchers with children. It improves the situation of talented scientists at the doctoral level, encourages them to pursue their career and fosters the proportion of qualified women participating in high-level research in Germany.

The Global Female Leaders 2019 is very proud to announce the presentation of the 13th German FOR WOMEN IN SCIENCE award. Three scholarships of 20.000 Euro are granted during our summit in May.

The 13th award ceremony will be held at the 6th Annual Global Female Leaders Summit.
