Water hand pump on top of mound (fed by nearby tank), feeding water through channels to a gravel ‘pond’

Linear sand pit ‘river’, with stepping stone crossing.
Existing timber climbing frame to be retained
Timber platform creating elevated spaces along the fence & enclosed play spaces and storage underneath
Dense tall planting (eg bamboo) creates enclosure for elevated platform
Climbing structure, including elevated platforms, rope climbing nets, and natural timber.
Realigned fence provides additional area to the junior play space

‘Water play mound’:Mound formed using material removed to lower sand pit heights. Water play to be fed from existing rainwater tank nearby.
A challenging climbing structure is proposed, replacing a structure that formerly existed in the same location. There is an oppportuity to supplement the natural timber climbing opportunities with rope nets, ladders and other climbing elements.
