Your participation in Club activities shows how working together—and having fun while doing it—can make us successful in our fundraising efforts. Our success with Coach ® Bingo is a perfect example of how everyone came together to help make this event a huge success. Thank you!!! Looking forward to 2014, our activities will continue. While some of our members will be soaking up the sunshine south of the border, there will be activities for the rest of us to look forward to…like our meeting at the Historical Museum in February and maybe even a bowling bash!!! Of course, we will officially welcome our new members in March and let us not forget Achievement Day in April. I hope you all are working on your submissions!!! At our January meeting, we will talk about a possible road trip. We will also look forward to the return of our Snow Birds. It should be a good 2014 for the Colony Club! Many wishes to you and your families for a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!! the STRONG W O M E N GOOD F R I E N D S CARING V O L U N T E E R S

Colony Club General Meeting—November 18 Our speaker, Jenna Palmisano Perfetti—Sea Glass Chic—really held our attention relating her journey involving sea glass. Who knew it takes 32 years for glass to be polished by the ocean and readied for another life…in this case, beautiful jewelry? Jenna’s designs are gorgeous and many members availed themselves of her creative designs. Find Jenna on Facebook by clicking this link: Sea Glass Chic

CAPA at the November General Meeting Tom Turkey got his wish as the members of CAPA listened intently to daughter Terri who provided history on past Presidents and their generous pardons. Not so lucky, though, was the little pig. With no turkey and all the trimmings made by Grandma, Grandpa invited all to feast on Pork Chops…Yikes!

In Case You Missed These...Coach® Bingo!—November 10

It was, as Phyllis mentioned, a HUGE success—from the cheery ticket sellers, to the food, to the fantastic and funny Bingo Caller (Bill Culp), and our own, Vanna…aka, Mary Rodgers., to the gorgeous Coach®

handbags! Check out the grin on our 50-50 winner—Gini Trotman! The Chinese Auction winners surely walked home with great gifts, and, of course, the silent auction netted the winner a signed Flyers’ Jersey. Special Thanks to Eileen Adams & Pat Smith for organizing the event. And, of course, thanks to all who volunteered to help make it fun! Bingo!

American Home—November 19 Habitat for Humanity representative, Shawn Lockyear, enlightened us with the details of the very good work done by this organization. Shawn told us more about the English family who will take possession of their new home on Saturday, December 14. We look forward to the Housewarming Party for the new homeowners. Thanks to Eileen Adams for getting us all involved!

Covered Dish Dinner—Diane Schiavo—dressed in a Santa Hat—stood in for Jane Snyder and gathered info for the covered dish dinner, December 17 @6:00 PM. It should be fun!
