2014 GOALS ACHIEVED

On February 28 – March 2, 2014, The New York Times Travel Show took place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. Now in its eleventh year, The New York Times Travel Show has become an unparalleled destination for the travel industry to meet and for travel enthusiasts to explore new places and book their next trip.

“The CHTA Education Foundation was once again overwhelmed at the turnout for NYTTS! We sold over 150 Caribbean hotel stays at our Silent Auction Fundraiser, and the large crowds you draw are eager for the warm weather getaways we offer. Show management is quite helpful and supportive, and our partnership with NYTTS continues to grow and expand. We look forward to participating again in 2015.” Ernest Dwight Auction Chairman Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association Education Foundation “A very refreshing event, like a new one in our #1 market! The travel industry on Friday came out from as far as PA and CT. Consumers booked, took information and showed a real interest in taking a vacation at a Caribbean/domestic destination.!Many of these families! We are on the drawing board for NYTimes 2015!” Puerto Rico Tourism Narciso A. Moreno Beiso Senior Sales Manager “The NY Times show is such a great event for the trade and consumers alike. Travel Market Report was thrilled to be a sponsor and we heard from our readership that they were delighted to be invited to this educational and networking event in such a great city! The organization was so professional and everything planned was on time and well attended. Thank you for including TMR!” Travel Market Report Anne Marie Moebes Executive Vice President.
