FOUR CONSECUTIVE WEEKS PROGRAM ▶ GSB.COLUMBIA.EDU/EXECED/PROGRAM-PAGES/DETAILS/816/AMP2X2

2X2 PROGRAM

The Advanced Management Program expands the possibilities executives see via our integrated three-level curriculum—personal leadership, strategic thinking, and execution—during a four-week transformative experience.

Personal Leadership.Great leadership starts with true self-awareness. In the Advanced Management Program, executives come to better understand their current level of awareness and their core values, so they can align day-to-day behaviors with overall goals and priorities for more effective leadership.

Strategic Thinking. One of the greatest challenges leaders face is creating strategic initiatives, especially during times of uncertainty. Executives learn to balance risk and innovation, to be better prepared to address external and internal demands.

Execution.Executives are already proven leaders when they enter the Advanced Management Program, but through questioning assumptions and reflecting on what they have learned, participants identify concrete steps to create an even clearer vision and to implement change.

The Advanced Management Program offers two scheduling options:

Four Consecutive Weeks: Executives spend the first two-and-a-half weeks at an exclusive off-site conference center, and spend the remainder of the program in New York City.

2X2 Option: The 2X2 option consists of two 2-week modules, with program work in between. The first two weeks take place at an off-site conference center; weeks three and four are held in New York City.

It also offers the busy executive a rare opportunity for personal reflection and development.”

Steven Quinn, Managing Director, SThree, PLC

“ The General Manager Leadership Program was excellent. It created a great opportunity for participants to strengthen their global views and lead changes in an ever-changing environment. It definitely helped me to better exercise self-leadership, which is critical for effective leaders.”

Dr. Christine Zhou, Vice President, Lilly China Oncology Business Unit

“ I took Finance and Accounting for the Nonfinancial Executive because my responsibilities were changing. I was moving from a legal capacity to an investment capacity. The course gave me the vocabulary, tools, and skill set to make that happen.”

Christoffel Krediet, Vice President, C.F. Capital Corporation

“ I would recommend the Certificate in Business Excellence to any candidate who wants to achieve personal and career success. It works fantastically well for candidates who strive for professional development but have limited time to re-enter business school on a full- or part-time basis.
