Ulrik Andersen is General Counsel of the Carlsberg Group and Head of Group Legal and Risk Manage-ment (GLRM) which handles legal matters on a worldwide basis, including M&A, IP rights, Competition Law and Corporate Governance issues. GLRM also includes the Carlsberg Group functions Security, Risk Management and Real Estate. Before joining Carlsberg in 1998, Ulrik Andersen practiced in London with Holman, Fenwick and Willan and thereafter in Copenhagen with, particularly, the law firm Gorrissen Federspiel Kierkegaard.

Jonas Bengtsson has worked as General Counsel for Tele2 AB from 2007 until 2013, heading the Tele2 Group’s legal and regulatory team. Jonas has recently left Tele2 to join TeliaSonera AB as General Counsel and Company Secretary, starting in this position in the beginning of 2014. He graduated from the University of Lund (LL.M.) in 1995. Between 1995 and 2000, Jonas worked as an associate (Lagerlöf & Leman and Mannheimer Swartling) and served as junior judge (Stockholm District Court). In 2000, he started working in-house when he joined a start-up company in the IT/data communication sector in the role as General Counsel. Richard Brolin is Senior Counsel & Managing Litigation Counsel with SunGard Data Systems Inc. SunGard provides software and processing solutions for financial services, education and the public sector, as well as disaster recovery services and business continuity management software. In 2012, SunGard was ranked #480 on the US Fortune 500. Richard is responsible for Dispute Resolution & Compliance in the EMEA region as well as the Com-mercial Contracts legal team in the Nordics, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Before joining SunGard, he worked as a commercial law litigator with the law firm af Petersens. Richard has also been General Counsel for the online video content company Kamera Interactive.

Emmanuelle Cabrol is partner with Herbert Smith Freehills and she is specialized in international arbitration and public international law. She is qualified as a French Avocat and a Solicitor of England and Wales, and also has an academic background in German law. Emmanuelle acts in commercial dis-putes between private companies in many sectors and has developed a particular expertise in disputes involving states. She has successfully represented Eurotunnel against France and United Kingdom, the first arbitration brought against two States simultaneously. Emmanuelle has appeared before numerous international tribunals in a number of jurisdictions, having experience of arbitration, both ad hoc and under the rules of ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, LCIA and the Swiss Rules.

Harold Coleman, Jr., Esq., is senior vice president for mediation at the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and executive director/mediator for Mediation.org, a division of the AAA. Since 1987 Coleman practiced as a private arbitrator, since 1992 as private mediator, and since 1998 as AAA faculty trainer. In his faculty role, Coleman trains new AAA arbitrators and aspiring mediators in basic/advanced arbitration case management and basic/advanced mediation skills. He is a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators (CCA), member of the board of directors of the International Mediation Institute (IMI), and former member of the AAA’s international board of directors. Coleman resides in California, where he is based in the AAA’s Los Angeles offices.

Professor Phillip Capper is Head of International Arbitration at White & Case LLP in London. As counsel, he has acted under ICC, LCIA, Stockholm, Madrid and Prague Chamber of Commerce and UNCITRAL Rules. As arbitrator, he has chaired ICC, LCIA and UNCITRAL tribunals, and been sole and party appointed arbitrator in ICC and LCIA arbitrations. Former Chairman of the Faculty of Law at Oxford University, he now directs the annual International Diploma Course for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in Oxford. Mr. Daerr is Senior counsel with Vinge. He joined the firm in 2009 after a successful practice in the United States from 1989-2009. He specializes in dispute resolution where he has over 20 years of experience with all types of litigation, arbitration, and mediation in multiple jurisdictions. He has also significant experience with the negotiation of complex international commercial agreements. Mr. Daerr received Martindale Hubbell's highest ranking (AV) during his practice in the U.S. which means that his peers ranked him at the highest level of professional excellence. He is a CEDR Accredited Mediator.

   

D. Casey Flaherty is corporate counsel at Kia Motors America, Inc. He oversees KMA’s dealer-related legal matters–marriage (transactional) to divorce (litigation) and everything in between—as governed by the ludicrous, esoteric dealer franchise laws. Casey has also founded a working group on electronic discovery for KMA and the other U.S. affiliates of Hyundai Motors (Korea). Before moving in-house, Casey served time in BigLaw where his practice focused on complex commercial litigation and electronic discovery. Based on what he witnessed in BigLaw, Casey developed a technology competency audit that he administers to his outside counsel. Casey is currently in the process of automating his audit and offering it free to other in-house counsel. Casey regularly writes and speaks about his audit, electronic discovery, budgeting, and other topics.

 

 

Maria Ingelsson is a partner at Advokatfirman Lindahl. She specializes in real estate law and litigation with key expertise in commercial leases, real estate transactions and related litigation. She has previous experience from outplacement with client companies and she is today a member of several Swedish company boards. Maria believes that law is primarily a tool for making good business, and not an intellectual competition.
