Dear Valued Partner,

Greetings! We are very pleased to have you join us next week in Bangkok for Cisco APJC Partner Led Network 2012 – an event that we hold annually for sales and marketing business leaders focused on the Commercial segment and designed to align, enable and strengthen Cisco’s network of valued partners and distributors.

Last year in Singapore, we demonstrated how Cisco is 100% for Partner Led. This year, with the theme Partner Led – It’s YOU, we are turning the spotlight on you and the important role you play.

Looking ahead, we foresee an unprecedented diversity of opportunities for Cisco and our partners across Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China. We will be sharing our perspective on these opportunities, strategy and technology updates, best practices for partner profitability and Cisco investments to help accelerate the growth of YOUR business.

At this event, let’s also take the opportunity to engage and interact and build on our relationships. It’s a time for Cisco to express our appreciation for all you are doing, and have some fun!

We look forward to seeing more of you during the event and strive to make this a truly valuable experience for you.

Best Regards,

Bastiaan ToesetDirector, Partner Led APJC Partner Business Group

29Green InitiativeAt Cisco, our solutions help businesses and people connect and share information in new ways – ways that make smarter use of fiscal and natural resources. In other words, sustainability is just second nature to the way we do business.

But our commitment to being good stewards of the environment extends beyond our solutions. We also work hard to minimize our environmental impact in all facets of our business, including the way we plan and run events such as the Cisco APJC Partner Led Network 2012. That’s why you will see less paper and more online conference materials. We have learned that you don’t need to make a big impact on your environment to make a big impact on your world.

What you can do: • Participate in your hotel’s linen reuse program. • Set your hotel room thermostat to a comfortable setting and turn off the air conditioning, lights, TV, and radio when youleave your room. • When traveling, use your hotel’s electronic billing service to cut down on paper usage. • Unplug your smartphone charger when not in use. • Review session materials on-line instead of printing.

As an industry veteran with twenty-one years experience – eleven of them at Cisco - Peter Bocquet has seen the evolution and adoption of many new technologies into the business environment. IP Telephony, Immersive

Telepresence and now, Virtualization are three of the mega-trends in which Peter has been involved. In his role as Regional Director for Collaboration and Virtualization Technologies, Peter is responsible for the development of Cisco’s offerings in this space, bringing rich-media applications – such as Voice and Video - into the virtualized workspace.

Peter joined Cisco in 2000 in Australia, working within the Service Provider and Enterprise customer segments, focusing on Unified Communications and Unified Contact Centre applications. Peter relocated from Australia to Singapore in 2005 to lead one of Cisco’s largest Strategic Alliance partnerships, focused on the deployment of Advanced Technology-led solutions for specific industries, such as Retail, Banking and Manufacturing. Since 2007, Peter has been heavily involved in shaping Cisco’s solution set for Business Video, and was most recently Director for Products and Technologies in Cisco’s Telepresence Technology Group.

Peter holds an Economics degree from the Australian National University and has completed post-graduate studies in Marketing (with Credit) at the University of Technology, Sydney.

When not exploring new boundaries with Telepresence, Peter can be found exploring new boundaries on foot. Since 2007, he has completed 250km footraces in the Gobi Desert (China), the Atacama Desert (Chile), in Antarctica and in the Sahara Desert.
