No More Hesitation for Between Size Femur !

U2 Knee All-in-One Block is a revolutionary instrument which combines all functions of establishing external rotation, sizing the femur, guiding AP & chamfer cut into one single block.

The AiO Block increases intra-operative flexibility in several aspects:● Visual indicators provide references to epicondylar axis and Whiteside’s line.● External rotation can be set with 0, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 degrees.● Accommodate both anterior and posterior reference concepts to size the femur.● Visualize the AP resection level during the whole process and fine-tuning accordingly.

U2 Knee All-in-One Block makes femur cutting much easier during TKA surgery. “Fine-Tuning” which solves the dilemma on in-between size selection.

Step 1. Placement of the AiO BlockPlace the AiO Block against the distal cutting surface of the femur with the posterior condyles seated on the posterior feet. Then secure the block with 2 Threaded Pins through the Initial fixation holes that connects to the posterior feet.

Step 2. Establish the External RotationBy rotating the Central Knob with the Screw Driver, the desired external rotation angle can be adjusted by referencing the transepicondylar axis and Whiteside's line. The marking indicates degrees of rotation relative to the posterior condyles, and can be adjusted from 3 to 7 degrees in 1 degree increments.

Step 3. Sizing the FemurUnlock the Femoral Stylus by rotating the handle. Then insert the stylus into the slot on the top of the AiO Block.

Lock the stylus and position its tip to contact the lowest point of the anterior femoral cortex. The femoral component size can now be read from the main panel. Surgeons may determine the bone cut based on the preferred anterior reference or posterior reference.

Step 3 (A). Sizing the Femurby Anterior Reference

Fix the anterior slot with a Threaded Pin. Then elevate the posterior slot by adjusting the Bottom Knob with Screw Driver to match a chosen size. The figures next to the Bottom Knob indicate the adjustment of posterior resection level relative to standard 9 mm cutting.

Once the appropriate size is determined, lock the Upper Knob with Screw Driver to secure the chosen size.

Remove the Femoral Stylus, fix the anterior and posterior slots with Threaded Pins and proceed anterior and posterior resection.

Step 3 (B). Sizing the Femur by Posterior Reference

Make sure the Bottom Knob indicates "0", which refers to the 9 mm standard posterior thickness of prosthesis. Then remove the Femoral Stylus. Slide the anterior slot to match a proper size on the size panel.

Once the appropriate size is determined, lock the Upper Knob with Screw Driver to secure the chosen size.

Fix the anterior and posterior slots with Threaded Pins and proceed anterior and posterior resection.

Step 4. Chamfer ResectionUse the 3.2 mm Drill to drill 2 reference holes for the Femoral Chamfer Resection Guide before removing the AiO block.

Fine Tune the Cutting LevelOccasionally, even when the proper size has been chosen, the cutting position needs to be readjusted to a better anterior / posterior resection level. With the upper knob in the locked position, rotate the Bottom Knob clockwise for less anterior and more posterior cut; conversely, rotate counter-clockwise to make more anterior and less posterior cut. The range of adjustment is between +2 and -2 mm relative to the standard 9 mm posterior cutting.

Counter-clockwise Rotation: More Anterior,

Less Posterior Resection

Clockwise Rotation: Less Anterior,

More Posterior Resection

Secure the Femoral Chamfer Resection Guide with Threaded Pins and then complete chamfer cuts.

Place the appropriate size of Femoral Chamfer Resection Guide into the pre-drilled pin holes.

Fix with Threaded Pin

Femoral Chamfer Resection Guide can be removed by assembling of FemoralChamfer Resection Guide Extractor and the Sliding Hammer.
