The Courier continued page 8..... Tornado In Fairfield Last Friday, a severe storm system went through Camas County producing rain and a small tornado. At about 3:30 p.m. on Oc- tober 2, a funnel cloud was spotted about eight miles west of Fairfield near Cor- ral. While the funnel only briefly reached the ground, it did damage a machine shed and roll a travel trailer. Accumulated precipitation over the weekend was just over a half inch. If you love coffee... Re- joice. The old Pit-Stop building in Wendell is now home to a new drive-thru (and sit down) coffee shop - Latte Da Bistro. For over a year, Kristie Coffee is Back in Wendell Sutton has been planning to open a coffee shop in Wen- dell. Originally, she was going to put it in the back parking lot of Simerlys, but when Sissy’s Place (379 S. Idaho St.) closed down, the building became available and she decided to start her business there instead. All through the month of October they will be having “PINK” specials to highlight Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Kristie (center) and her intrepid crew - sister Kelli Barr (left) and Cynthia Scott (right) - have the pots hot and are ready to pour you a cup of your favorite joe (they have cold drinks too). Call ahead to 536-9954 and have your order wait- ing when you drive up to the window. The Shoshone Public Li- brary has expanded its capa- bilities to include 3D print- ing with help from the Idaho Commission for Libraries’ “Make It at the Library” project. Library director Clay Rit- ter and children’s services coordinator Sarah Stowell learned how to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot 3D printers and employ computer- aided design tools at an ICfL workshop in Boise during September. They even brought one of the “additive-manufacturing” devices home to the library. Ritter and Stowell were among nine staff members from six Magic Valley li- braries who attended the event. One-third of the 21 libraries participating in the “Make It at the Library” project statewide are based in the Magic Valley. HOME EQUITY LINE OF CREDIT

If you call a contractor yourself, that still counts as DIY.

*1.50% Introductory Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is available on Home Equity Lines of Credit with an 80% loan-to-value (LTV) or less. The Introductory Interest Rate will be fixed at 1.50% during the five-month Introductory Period. A higher introductory rate will apply for an LTV above 80%. Offer is available for new applications submitted from September 12, 2015–November 20, 2015. After the five-month introductory period: the APR is variable and is based upon an index plus a margin. The APR will vary with Prime Rate (the index) as published in the Wall Street Journal. As of September 11, 2015, the variable rate for Home Equity Lines of Credit ranged from 2.99% APR to 8.25% APR. Higher rates may apply due to an increase in the Prime Rate, for a credit limit below $125,000, an LTV at or above 80%, a low credit score and/or not having a U.S. Bank personal Package Checking account. A U.S. Bank personal package checking account is required to receive the lowest rate, but is not required for loan approval. The rate will not vary above 18% APR, or applicable state law, or below 1.50% APR. Choosing an interest-only repayment may cause your monthly payment to increase, possibly substantially, once your credit line transitions into the repayment period. Repayment options may vary based on credit qualifications. Interest only repayment may be unavailable. Loan approval is subject to credit approval and program guidelines. Not all loan programs are available in all states for all loan amounts. Interest rates and program terms are subject to change without notice. Property insurance is required. U.S. Bank and its representatives do not provide tax or legal advice. Your tax and financial situation is unique. You should consult your tax and/or legal advisor for advice and information concerning your particular situation.

Other restrictions may apply. Mortgage and Home Equity products offered by U.S. Bank National Association. Deposit Products are offered through U.S. Bank National Association. Customer pays no closing costs, except escrow-related funding costs. An annual fee of up to $90 may apply after the first year and is waived with a U.S. Bank personal Platinum Checking Package.
