The Courier continued on page 7..... Bird Hunting In Idaho The Union Pacific Foundation recently anounced generous grants to 32 Idaho nonprofit organiza- tions, including Saddle Up Lincoln County. This is the second grant that the Union Pacific Foundation has given Saddle Up Lincoln County in support of the Nutritional Food Values program. This program provides qualiaty perishable protein items to food pantries in Lincoln County. Saddle Up Lincoln County administers the grant which provides food for 125 to 140 families for a least six months. The railroad came through Shoshone over 130 years ago. Like thousands of little towns across the country, the arrival of the railroad changed everything. Suddenly our vast country wasn’t so big - most places were just a train ride away. Building America in Lincoln County Today, people still have a hard time going anywhere Lincoln County without noticing or crossing the rail- road tracks which go right through the middle of Shoshone. Union Pacif- ic trains pass through the area many times each day, making them a big part of that community. Union Pacific has a long standing history of supporting and improving the quality of life in the communities where its employees live and work. Saddle Up Lincoln County recog- nizes and appreciates Union Pacific’s civic leadership, and its role as an outstanding corporate citizen. The grant from the Union Pacific Foundation’s “Building America” program will make Saddle Up’s goal of “Striving for a Healthy and Pros- perous Community” a lot easier to acheive. Most of Idaho will open for waterfowl hunting on October 17, excluding Area 1 in southeast Idaho which opened October 3rd. The statewide daily bag limit is seven ducks; but not more than two female mal- lard, three scaup, two red- head, two pintail, and two canvasback. The daily goose bag limit is four Canada geese; 10 white-fronted geese; and 20 for light geese (Snow and Ross’ geese). The possession limit is three times the daily bag limit. The upcoming season looks to be excellent nation- ally with record numbers of ducks available for hunters. Most waterfowl in Idaho are produced from breeding ar - eas in southern Alberta and Saskatchewan, which had fair-to-good nesting condi- tions during spring. The regular 2015 pheasant season also gets underway October 17 in Area 2 and 3, excluding Area 1 in northern Idaho which opened October 10th. The pheasant season runs through November 30 in Area 2 and through De- cember 31 in Area 1 and 3. HOME EQUITY LINE OF CREDIT

If you call a contractor yourself, that still counts as DIY.

*1.50% Introductory Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is available on Home Equity Lines of Credit with an 80% loan-to-value (LTV) or less. The Introductory Interest Rate will be fixed at 1.50% during the five-month Introductory Period. A higher introductory rate will apply for an LTV above 80%. Offer is available for new applications submitted from September 12, 2015–November 20, 2015. After the five-month introductory period: the APR is variable and is based upon an index plus a margin. The APR will vary with Prime Rate (the index) as published in the Wall Street Journal. As of September 11, 2015, the variable rate for Home Equity Lines of Credit ranged from 2.99% APR to 8.25% APR. Higher rates may apply due to an increase in the Prime Rate, for a credit limit below $125,000, an LTV at or above 80%, a low credit score and/or not having a U.S. Bank personal Package Checking account. A U.S. Bank personal package checking account is required to receive the lowest rate, but is not required for loan approval. The rate will not vary above 18% APR, or applicable state law, or below 1.50% APR. Choosing an interest-only repayment may cause your monthly payment to increase, possibly substantially, once your credit line transitions into the repayment period. Repayment options may vary based on credit qualifications. Interest only repayment may be unavailable. Loan approval is subject to credit approval and program guidelines. Not all loan programs are available in all states for all loan amounts. Interest rates and program terms are subject to change without notice. Property insurance is required. U.S. Bank and its representatives do not provide tax or legal advice. Your tax and financial situation is unique. You should consult your tax and/or legal advisor for advice and information concerning your particular situation.

Other restrictions may apply. Mortgage and Home Equity products offered by U.S. Bank National Association. Deposit Products are offered through U.S. Bank National Association. Customer pays no closing costs, except escrow-related funding costs. An annual fee of up to $90 may apply after the first year and is waived with a U.S. Bank personal Platinum Checking Package.
