Cuejero present their new album Inmerso / Cuejero presenta su nueva obra Inmerso

This album aims to immerse the audience in a musical

journey, inspired by the fusion of various cultures sharing the

same land. Cuejero’s music reflects stories sung by the deep

voices of instruments with one foot in the tradition and the

other one in current society.

This album is the result of four years of intensive creative

work, which has brought to the studio 24 world-class

musicians and their instruments. The music features the

mastery of the oud virtuoso Maher Mahmoud, the saxo

soprano Jens Christian Jensen “Chappe”, as well as the

powerful flamenco voices of Rafita de Madrid and Enrique

Bermúdez “Piculabe”.

This international ensemble is formed by the bassist and composer Javier Sanchez, the violinist Lotta-Maria Pitkänen,

the flamenco guitarist Toni Jokiniitty, and the percussionist Ricardo Padilla.

- April 24th at 21h in Pueblo (Eerikinkatu 27), counting with the collaboration of the emerging singer Lola.

La música de Inmerso sumergirá a la audiencia en un mundo de sonidos sugerentes, melodías inspiradoras y ritmos

enérgicos. Resultado de la conexión entre sonidos provenientes del flamenco, folk y Latin-Jazz en sus composiciones.

Este nuevo trabajo discográfico es el resultado de cuatro años de intenso trabajo creativo y cuenta con la

colaboración de 24 instrumentistas. Entre ellos destaca el virtuoso laudista Maher Mahmoud, el saxo soprano Jens

Christian Jensen “Chappe” y las voces de los flamencos Enrique Bermúdez “Piculabe” y Rafita de Madrid.

La banda agrupa al bajista y compositor Javier Sánchez, la violinista Lotta-Maria Pitkänen, el guitarrista flamenco

Toni Jokiniitty y el percusionista Ricardo Padilla, presentes en la foto.
