Background
Prevailing system of public distribution is using books or cards to keep the information regarding customers. Verifying customer identification is a tiresome process when it is to be done through the manual process. Keeping information in books or cards will take not only some time but also will occupy more storage space. By introducing smart card as a medium to identify and keeping information on a central system will rapidly reduce the efforts and the cost.

denials • User Role based dynamic access system• On request display of photo on client machine • Compare customer identity through bio-metric reader [optional]
Features
How it works
• Customer Card is inserted in the card reader at the branch.• The details will be validated in the central data base
through dial up connection by the help of web service provided at central facility.
• The validated status will be displayed on the branch computer and there by the operator can verify the customer.
Following are the hardware required at Central facility• Windows NT/2000 server • Smart Card Reader• Web service to verify the information sent by the branches.
