Aged 52, Gino has a diploma from the nautical school, an Italian Master Certificate and a British Class 4 Master ticket. After being involved in the yachting industry for 37 years, Gino has extensive experience as a charter Captain and has acquired a wealth of knowledge on cruising in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Borneo and India. Gino has earned great respect and an excellent reputation. Some of Gino’s previous yachts include “Nabila”, “King ”, “Lady in Blue”, “” “Kermit.” And Lady Lola . He was Captain on “M/Y King” for 9 years during which time he did 14 Atlantic crossings and clocked up over 119 000 Nautical Miles. Gino has been the Captain of “Kermit” when she was launched in March 2001 and has maintained the highest standards of professionalism even winning the prestigious “Charter Captain of the Year award” in 2003.

Gino is multi-lingual and speaks Italian, French, English and Spanish. He’s been on board “Lady Lola” from December 2004. The summer 2010 had been an extremely successful charter season for Lady Lola and Gino was awarded the price for “excellence” during the Monaco show. In the last six years , I improved the skill for a Big size Yacht , with commercial regulation and crew management Supervision and follow-up of the refit in Genoa in 2005 ( interior and exterior) requested for the Commercial Yacht Registration

Captain from October 2004 – December 2004 Delivery from Genoa Italy to Miami USA Very nice offer from the Owner to stay as captain on board ,but I was already engaged by the new Owner of Lady Lola, the delivery was asked by the seller Because he Knows my experience in sailing with Amels Yachts. And the delivery of acceptance have been made after the Crossing.

MY KERMIT - 164 Ft (49,90 m)- AMELS

Captain on board from March 2001 - September 2004 Supervision on behalf of the Owner the completion of construction of the hull and superstructure during the final stage of the building process at the Amels shipyard in Makkum Holland Worldwide cruising from Makkum to the Med for the summer season and in November 2001 sail to the Canary islands for Owner Cruise and then to the Caribbean sea, Cuba , Bahamas and Med cruise , then back in Makkum in the winter for warranty works and modifications. Back in the Mediterranean sea in March 2003 , Kermit has done very good and busy charter Season Left Nice South of France November 2003 for the Charter season and end in Sept 2004 with a good report from the Owner In charge of the ISM certification 51.000 nautical miles with KERMIT Award for the Best Charter Captain n 2003
