Worked as an intern at Broadcom Communications Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, India in Bluetooth
RFDVT team. Previously worked in WLAN Hardware Development team.
Area of Work: Post Silicon Testing & Verification of WLAN/Bluetooth chip at radio layer for its performance
parameters like Maximum Transmitted Power, Out of Band Transmission, Bit/Packet Error Rate – Sensitivity, Adjacent Channel Interference - In Band Spur, etc. and analyzing these parameters for the best performance. Test
automation and data parsing from Microsoft Excel & text files using scripting languages Python and Visual Basic for
Applications (VBA).

RF Front End Characterization for Narrow & Wide Band Radios (M.Tech. Final Year
Project)
Description: Front end is an important part of WLAN/BT chip design, having Band Pass Filter to reduce strong out-
of-band signals, Power Amplifier, Low Noise Amplifier and matching network. Power Amplifier and Low Noise
Amplifier are incorporated to amplify signal to be transmitted and weak signal received by antenna respectively.
Filter non-idealities, nonlinearity of power amplifier, high noise figure of Low Noise Amplifier and many other impairments affect the ideal behavior of the design and degrades the desired performance. Transmit Signal Strength
Indicator, Error Vector Magnitude, receiver sensitivity and many other such parameters help to evaluate how and at
what extent these imperilments affect the design and also help to improve the design accordingly.

Analyzer, Bluetooth Test set (Anritsu), Attenuator/Switch Driver

Laser Audio Transmission (B.E. Final Year Project)
Description: This project is a proof-of-concept device that transmits an audio signal using a laser beam, while
removing the need for the user to align the transmitter and Receiver. Receiver receives the audio signal in the form of
laser beam and converts it back to electrical audio signal.
Hardware: PIC16F877A microcontroller, Stepper Motor, LM358N, Opto-isolator 4N35, Photo Transistor

Fastest Finger First (B.E.)
Description: The project is based on 8051 microcontroller. Useful for quiz games, the Fastest Finger First circuit displays the player number along with a beep sound when specified player presses the button before other.
FM Radio (B.E.)
Description: The project is a simple FM Receiver works on transistors and variable capacitor which uses the
frequency range 88 to 108 MHz.
