Dear Parents / Carers, This week has been full of sports related learning. Mr Taylor, our sports coach delivered an assembly on a special visitor who will be coming to Davidson Primary Academy to meet with the children. Ezekiel Owulo who is an international long jump athlete will be visiting to deliver a sports workshop to all the children. Ezekiel has competed in the Youth Olympic Games and hopes to take part in the next Olympic games. In order to get ready for his arrival the children have been asked to do a safe sponsor fundraiser. Children will receive prizes dependent on the amount they raise. So children get healthy, have fun and raise some money. The World Cup has officially started and the children are fully engrossed in it. Some of the classes even took the time to make their predictions on match outcomes and have completed a football wall chart. Football is a great way to get the child thinking about maths, you might want to support them at home by doing some football themed activities. I can inform you the majority of classes earned the extra time. Thank you to all parents and carers who made a donation, it is greatly appreciated. YEAR 3 TRIP TO CHESSINGTON

Year 3 had a wonderful trip to Chessington World of Adventures . This trip relates to their current Time

Tunnel IPC topic where they are traveling through different periods of time. They have made models of

rollercoaster rides in Art and DT so it was lovely seeing the real life models up close!
