Get set to be dazzled by next year’s award ceremony held on March 4, 2016 where HRM Asia promises it willbe a bigger and better event.
HRM Asia is delighted to announce the nalists for the HRM Awards 2016. Now in its 13th year, HRM Awardshas earned its reputation as the pre-eminent awards for rewarding and celebrating “Great HR”. Lauded as “theOscars” of the local HR industry by The Straits Times, this year’s event will see a record 258 nalists from 94organisations vying for the top spots in 24 categories.
For the rst time ever, HRM Awards will be shining the spotlight on Singapore’s Small and Medium-sizedEnterprises (SMEs) in a whole new way by splitting 4 top awards into 2 categories, based on organisation size ofabove and below 500 employees.
“We are committing once again to HRM Asia’s aim of supporting great HR and empowering HR teams fromboth major organisations and SMEs,” announced Emma Dean, Events Director at HRM Asia.
“This inspired move comes after two consecutive years of making headlines by honouring local SMEs with thehighly coveted SME Employer of the Year Award.”
This year, Ramada and Days Hotels Singapore At Zhongshan Park has emerged as the SME with the highestnumber of nominations – the organisation will be competing as nalist in no less than 10 categories.
“To be selected as the nalists in 10 categories at the 2016 HRM Awards alongside some very prestigious andestablished companies is a huge honour for us!” said Josephine Chua, Director of Human Resources andQuality, Ramada and Days Hotels Singapore At Zhongshan Park.
“We are a young organisation built from scratch three years ago and this recognition re ects our organisation’scommitment on people excellence!”
As with each year, the crowning jewel is the Hays Award for Employer of Choice, the most coveted trophy inSingapore HR. As title sponsor for six consecutive years, Hays has been particularly supportive of great HR andthis award.

HRM Awards 2016 will commence on March 4, 2016 at the Ritz Carlton Millenia, Singapore. The gala dinnerwill feature emcee Irene Ang, CEO and Founder of FLY Entertainment, ve-star entertainment includingcomedic routines and extraordinary musical performances by international artistes. All this will beaccompanied by a world class gourmet dinner, free- owing ne wines and the announcement of all the winners.
