The goal of this project is to create over thirty dinners that will be distributed to members of the community during this holiday season and to teach our students about caring, sharing and giving. Each dinner will include a variety of foods and each student will be encouraged to donate one item from the menu. Your child’s teacher either assigned a food item to each student or had them choose what they would like to bring. The specific food item is listed below. If you are unable to participate, please let your child’s teacher know. Food collection will begin on Monday, November 15 th and continue through Friday, November 19 th . On Friday the boxes will be moved to the Old Gym and classes will be invited to see what they have accomplished. Thank you in advance for your participation in this project and we wish all of you a very happy holiday season. On Friday, November 12th, PVES Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade and Childside students will have a special visit by Peter and Mary Alice Amidon. TheAmidons will bring a festival of music, storytelling, and dance into our school with their program “Songs and Stories for a Singing School” - a participatory conceconcert of folktales from around the world, and singinggames from and for children.
