A big problem in our world!!!

There are a lot of global issues around the world but the most

important because of many reasons is deforestation.

Deforestation is a growing worldwide problem that brings to our

world economic and environmental consequence’s that may

take use to a very big pollution problem. In this time the world

only has 30% of it full of trees but on each year we loose and

amount of size as Panama. This global issue is very important

because trees give us the opportunity to have clan air because

they absorb in the carbon dioxide and expel new clean oxygen.

This problem started a lot of years ago, in 1990, and if we don’t

make it stop on few years we will stay without forest. This problem

is happening only because of human needs as plenty of Wood

and paper. This is also problem because more than a 80% of

species of the world live in forest as their natural habits.

People take the importantance of forests for granted but the

deforestation is one of the biggest global issues of all. The causes of

Deforestation are endless but the main reasons are: urban

construction, use of fuel, Agriculture, logging and illegal logging.

People do not realize that trees provide most of the oxygen we

breathe and people think 1 tree won’t hurt anybody

The lack of trees in this modern society is affecting us in many

ways ground erosion is getting bigger and bigger every time and

this is due to the lack of trees because then the soil is exposed to

the sun and it gets very dry and infertile, aloe a big amount of loss

of biodiversity is occurring because there are cutting trees to fast

and they don’t let the trees grow. Mud floods are getting worse

because trees stop the mud and prevent the damage but no trees

make it worse. Even global warming is an effect of deforestation

because Global warming occurs because there is too much co2 in

the air and trees absorb much of that co2 and trees prevent brutal

climate change

Protecting forests will not only preserve biodiversity such as

animals and plants but also it’s the quickest and effective way of

covering global warming. Deforestation is caused by industrial

logging, agricultural business, and mining for metals, road

building and finally hydroelectric dams. I’ll ask you this: if

corporations have the power and ability to destroy the world’s

biggest forests then they sure have the ability to save then as

well?

Solutions:

•Schools: That kids learn about what is happening around the

world right now with our forests and so they spread the word to

their friends and family.

•Politics: By making changes on the law, so that cutting trees in a

forest area becomes a crime. This will not make a major change

but it can stop how fast forests are cleared.

•Re using: reusing waste paper to make projects, jobs and new

materials and inventions.

•Reforestation: (reversing deforestation) many countries around

the world are now reforestation the area. Until now countries

have carefully managed to reverse deforestation.

•Commercial and Special forest plantations: to build places

where trees grow specially for wood industries instead of

destroying wildlife and despairing special type of forests around

the world

All this solutions above have to be highly and seriously

considered by the biggest countries. Already, the effects of

deforestation have started to manifest themselves in a big way.

There’s still some time to save the world and you can start

making a change!

In conclusion trees are essential for our survival and a way

to prevent deforestation is for every tree you cut down you

shall plant 2 more and that prevents the lack of trees in forests.

We must be really aware of the importance of trees because

we depend on them and they

depend on us.

•FORESTS CONTAIN MORE THAN A HALF OF THE SPECIES THAT LIVE

IN OUR PLANET AND SO WHEN TREES ARE CUT OFF THESE ARE PUT

IN EXTITION

• One of the most affected countries is Haiti!!

• Each year we lose the amount of trees is size of Panama

because of deforestation.

Deforestation is a very important global issue which has to be solved. The

solution that we propose to solve this global issue and can be practice at

school is that we have to reforest ate the trees cut off last year so we can

have a better world for our future generations because there is still time to

repair the damage. The objective of this proposal is to replant the trees cut

in the last years for us to have cleaner oxygen and a school full of nature, to

persuade children to plant trees so we can have a better environment.

How are we going to reforest ate at school?

We can start a cake sale or a food sale were students at school buy this

snacks so we can fundraise to earn some money to buy trees, seeds and all

the materials required to plant a tree, with this persuasive idea we can have

a better result with the environment. After we plant the trees, once a week

the trees are going to get irrigated with water for them to grow up and so we

all together can create a better school. With all this trees we will replace all

those poor trees that were cut off the past few years.

Materials:

•Big posters pasted all around the school for students to be informed at all

times about this big plan of reforestation. And the schedules for each grade

and parallel.

•Students compromised to bring food for the sale.

•With the money earned with the food sale the materials buied will be:

shovels, gardening gloves, seeds or trees and finally showers to plant trees.

In a conclusion, this proposal has to be applied at the school because

deforestation is increasing rapidly and everywhere in the world at a faster

rate every year. So planting trees will be a great idea and also because all

the school buses pollute the air around us and this is bad for our health. Let’s

make a better world starting on our community!!!
