Unbolt and remove towers with crane ior'disposal 6y contractor. Remove existing structural supports and footings. Remove existing service platform (grating) and stairs fo, proper re-installation. provide new footings and supports for towers. Crane the new-towers into'[tace ind attach the new tower to the new support structure Reconnect piping, electrical, and controls.. Reinstall existing service platform and stairs to suit new cooling tower elevation' Balance water pressure/gpm flow through each coolirig tower. provide condenser water piping labels and signage indicating direction of flow. Rbconnect ptum-oing drain for new open loop cooling towers. lnstall equalizing line between all three new open loop cooling towers- Exten-d existing make-up water to new open loop cooling tower. Repair damaged insulation on condenser water. piping. Replace triite outy valves between cooling towers and their respective pumps with like equal, and replace all existing isolation/butterfly valves with new ouiterny valves. Replace (2) old delta valves with new bray valves. Johnson controls to relocate condenser water return sensor, and modify sequence of operations to fix basin overflow issue and enable any condenser water pump to run with any cooling towei Modify existing electrical and install new to suit new cooling towers and accessories. The awarded general contractor shall pull the approved building permit and resubmit permit iisue to the AHJ. The general contractor to provide detailed construction phasing plan for engineer's approval..Two cooling towers and two condenser water pumps shall be operating at all times using materials noted on Drawings and spicified herein. ESTIMATED COST: $747,375.45 - $7S6, t11.OO. A Pre-bid conference will be held on APRIL 24,2019 at 11:00 a.m., in the Gold conference Room on the Fourth Floor of the Clark County Government Center, at the address shown below. lf your firm is unfamiliar with the County Bid Submittal procedures and would like to obtain tra]ning on the submittal procggq for this Bid, please contact Sandy l\4oody Upton, Purchasing Analyst , at (702) 455-4424 n6 later than TUEaDAy ApRIL 23, zo1g,, and a training session will be provided immediately following the pre-bid conference referenced above.
